Imma run a bead of silicone sealant across the top of mine too. Also the drain gromet gets plugged it has a flap deal to drain water be sure that is clean and the drain gromet on the driver side too.

Unless you take out the rubber drain in front of the filter and flush it then replace it
out you will never stop the passenger floor getting wet ,water can only enter the car through the filter when the drain is blocked it then reaches a level which allows it to flow through the filter

Don’t forget there’s another drain underneath the car as well.
