Thank you so much for this!!!! It helps me out enormously with my hobby of creating tiny houses from used bottles and clay. I can always use flat pieces of plastic to make little windows and so for them and now I have a near endless supply of it! Saw your video and straight away I tried it out: works great! You’ll loose a bit of size in this process, but I don’t find that a problem at all. I’m just being happy with a little technique like this. Maybe silly, so be it! :))))
Question: 1. Whats the correct tempature to heat the plastic 2. What type of plastic bottle did you use? (1-5) 3. May I use tapes or glue guj instead of nails and board? Do note I loved the tutorial, It breaks the wall of limit in my mind ❤
It can also be done with cloth iron. I tried it, it works. The only problem is that the pieces are not completely smooth. If the plastic is thin, then we can flatten it even at the setting of rayon cloth in cloth ironing. There is no smell nor any fumes. It also doesn't stick with the iron.
Just don't breathe I'm joking, but it can it just depends on the type of plastic I'm assuming this is PET which is fine, but with other recycling it has a small area in between burning and melting to not release fumes As long as you don't burn it you'll be safe Also if you worry go outside and wear a respirator

Wow this is incredibly helpful thank u🙏🏽
nice , how would i join them together to make longer sheets, waterproof ?
Can you use a hairdryer instead of that heating thing
Yeah it's basically the same thing
You can but it takes much longer
If u have a grill on ur oven that works good
Wow, Amazing!
Thank you very much.
It's a great idea.👍👍👍
How about using a hot iron for clothes and parchment or wax paper to press the plastic flat?
Не подойдёт,он должен быть в натянутом состоянии.
What if you put a thick aluminium sheet between the iron and the plastic @plasticbottlecutter6593
Have you tried putting multiple sheets ontop of each other and put it in the oven while stacking more to make a thick sheet
How to join these pieces seamlessly
Interesting method. This isn´t change the pet properties ? Thanks for sharing.

Have you worked with Aquafina bottles? I cant get them to do anything
Loved this trick!! I will try
very helpful. thank you so much
Thank you so much.
I'd like to know how to put sheets together to make LARGE sheets.
Any ideas???
Use the side of an iron and slightly overlap the pieces
Also you parchment paper so it doesn't stick to the iron
@@imadeitworse8275 Thank you!!!
@@sylviacolburn1462 yeah
It might not actually work( I haven't used pet because of the fumes) and if it does it'll leave a slight lip
Very very nice
Thanks dude:

I want to join all my square pieces together and make a greenhouse
Dude, I admire your dedication, but wouldn't binder clips hold down the plastic?
no
Does heating plastic release harmful chemicals that would be breathed in ?
Возможно.
Just don't breathe
