Two things I remember about this game all these years later (I was a teenager when I went to it) - first is that it took FOREVER - I think it ran until almost 5:00PM which even OT games don't usually do, and second the level of vitriol that the Giants fans had for Ray Handley. The Giants were bad that year but the fans still had a lot of support for the players - not for Handley. They were heckling him throughout and calling him every name in the book. There were even young kids screaming at him.

It’s amazing he was a head coach gets a super bowl championship team and does nothing with it

Eagles punter returner Vai Sikahema is now a television personality in Philadelphia. Giants punt returner Dave Meggett is a guest of the corrections system of South Carolina until 2034.

Man I love Herschel Walker's shoulder pads. They were huge even by 1992 standards

Herschel had chronic bad shoulders. Probably from being over used in college and in those 18-game USFL regular seasons.

These videos give many former players to relive their NFL careers - especially the ones who didn't have long, distinguished careers. Their families can see that they were actually NFL players.

I was at this game. A punt return; a kick off return; a blocked punt return; and INT return--all for touchdowns. The only missing in this game was a drop kick.

Good find...I remember watching this game live as it happened.
For the record, this WAS the highest scoring Eagles-Giants game ever played...until the two teams combined for 83 points on December 13, 2009 in the last Eagles-Giants game ever played at Giants Stadium (on Sunday Night Football, no less).

I was at this game. Such a poorly coached game for both teams. Even though the Eagles won, you can see they had no direction. They were playing on talent and disciple from years of Buddy Ryan's players ; and two of their best were drafted by Marion Campbell.

No Giants fan but these uniforms and helmets were much better than the ones they wear these days. I wish the Jets, Eagles, Broncos and Pats would all go back to their late 80's early 90's look. JMO

45:52 Refs missed a pretty blatant block in the back on the Meggett KR TD.
Another bad no call at 57:34 with I think Keith Hamilton diving at Randall's legs. Hantak says "72 pushed him" but the only Eagle that puts hands on him is #87 Maurice Johnson, and there's no way he influenced Hamilton to go that low, that doesn't make physical sense. Giants got some home cooking in this one, for all the good it did them

That was good ol Parcells/Belicheat dirty football you're talking about.
I saw Smell-T dive into Montana's knees after taylor had gotten knocked on his coke head a**.
He looked first and saw that Joe had already released the throw but went ahead and attempted to put him out just like they did in the '86 and '91 playoff games.
The next play after...Smell-T was sidelined temporarily with a dislocation.

The British had been making that rotating cleat for quite some time.
I remember seeing an add in a English Football magazine in 1976, but the issue was from a couple of years earlier, maybe 1972-73.
