This was the first game I ever watched as a wee lad of 6 years old. I remember I was playing or doing whatever 6 year olds do Monday evenings when I came out to the living room and my dad was watching the game. I don't know why, but I sat down and decided to watch a little bit. I was instantly hooked. Once I expressed interest, every Sunday after church we would go to a family sports bar and catch the 2nd half of the usual 10am game start time (we lived in CA at the time). I was always really happy when the Eagles had a late afternoon game or Sunday/Monday night game, because then I could watch the whole thing (those games usually started at 1PM or 5PM). I was crushed when they lost to the Pats in the super bowl, but I remember watching the game in a small theater room at my dad's squadron building at Edwards AFB. Man... good times
