I love Linkin Park since 2005 but I never had the chance to go see them live. When Chester died I was devastated and all hope was lost... Since they returned, I watch the recordings of every live show and hundreds of reactions online. 😅 I like other artists too, but these people have always been much more than music to me. They are the unmatched symbol of genuine kindness and human values that the world needs to know. ❤ Next summer after all the excitement and the tears I expect to finally meet Linkin Park and enjoy this moment after waiting for 20 years. 🥹 And yes, when something is on repeat a hundred times, it means it just matches the listener's heart. 🙂
If you end up watching one of the new interviews with Mike, you will understand it even better. Also they did a good call on calling this album From Zero, cause Xero was the first name of the band.
"Who would have thought 10 years ago I'd be here reacting to Linkin Park in 2024." I mean, 10 years ago is when The Hunting Party released, before Chester died, before even One More Light came out... so a lot of people might have expected to be reacting to Linkin Park in 2024 back then 😅
Top artist is The Warning by a big margin, no surprise I suppose. LP is #3 but they didn't release until the year was most of the way over so they probably would've been #2. This song and video was is so much fun. If you watch the bts for it you'll see they had lots of fun making it too.
I've seen some people putting The Warning on #1 spot over LP. I've watched some videos and listened to the album. Nothing bad to say about girls, they are awesome and talented. But I could not compare it to From Zero album. I think only people doing reactions are putting From Zero album lower cause they get money to listen to music all day and when you hear all kind of stuff you become numb. LP received #1 album awards in some countries, and top hard rock group by Billboard, 20 days after releasing album they had 1Billion streams already. On spottify they had less than 40 million monthly listeners before this announcement and album launch, and today it's over 50 million (Warning nas 1.2 million). Dunno, they can not be compared to anything based on fan statistics. I've listed to all top albums reactors put, they all sound kind of the same (except Warning and Bilmuri) and I am afraid for those Warning girls. They seem to be "pushed" into all this by their parents. Those situations never finish good, someone flips and they are just girls. Hopefully they made mental and psychological foundation in time cause their time to be famous will come and they better be ready to fight demons.
@smeagol80 The Warning were not pushed at all but rather supported by their parents. They all have good heads on their shoulders and never do anything they don't want to. That's why they were independent for so long, they got lots of big name labels wanting to sign them but they turned them all down until they were ready and found someone willing to accept there terms not the other way around. I wouldn't worry about them in that aspect. As far as #1 the post was referring to personal stream numbers not everyone combined numbers. TW is not remotely close to LP in that aspect but I can definitely see them being that big some day, they have everything needed to make it happen.

Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult. Or Lonely Day by System of a Down. Two Faced is among Good Things Go, A Place for my Head and five or six more I equate as Linkin Park. It's funny you say it's another relatable song, when Lincoln is not spelled Linkin. It's the best when their songs show their punnier side.
My friend and I saw them in Arlington Texas in November. Amazing.
They performed 28 songs and Emily and the band were still going strong. Crazy.
Yes I've seen them live in the day and recently both, and was awesome both times. Definitely worth going if you can.
