Manchester population is over 600.000 now and with Salford nearly 1 million. Manchester cannot be measured like that, it’s boroughs are huge. Bolton and Stockport are both about as big as Hull.Manchester was kept artificially small because half of its suburbs were redistributed to neighbouring boroughs. Does anyone really think that Stretford, Old Trafford and Prestwich are not part of Manchester?

London isn't a city. The City of London has a population of about 7,000. Likewise, the City of Manchester has a population of 553k not 2.7MM. This video is just wrong.
