While good tanks are already the most in-demand and hardest to obtain for M+, do you think the rotating dungeons potentially dis-incentivizes newer or existing tanks to have to learn 8 new routes every cycle?
Depends if you are a +20 tryhard yes, it can be tiring.. if you are doing at best +15 stones to have fun then it will be fine.. You might say, "what if I enjoy tryharding at +16 and beyond?".. In that case you just zip it, stop crying like a soy-boy, and enjoy yourself learning all the dungeons..
I do understand we’re people are coming from with wanting to do Dragonflight dungeons in the first patch. However having played M+ in Season 4 it’s very fun to go back old dungeons, I’ve really enjoyed it. Maybe we can have a voting system for more interaction from players.
I wouldn't get to excited over the 10minute duration, 5minute cooldown. In the past there's been similar items that they've gone and either reduced the duration or jacked up the cooldown before launch. If it does go live though I'll be happy as hell as the soul shapes are cool even without the speedboost.
You'd think there's a job role at blizz whose sole responsibility is watching content creators for their ideas to make the game better. At least, you'd hope so.
M+ should be all new dungeons every season. I’d like them to continue on the path they have now. Would love to have some Cata or BC dungeons brought to M+
i am happy to see other people optimistic about the system. i am fine with some dungeons carrying over (if they are as good as Tazavesh, at least), but having majority new dungeons for season 4 of Shadowlands has been so good. however, i am fine with not bringing back pre-MoP dungeons, if for nothing else then for the drop in graphical quality the further back you go. besides, as time goes on we'll be able to bring back BFA and Shadowlands dungeons too, so we really won't be running dry on good old dungeons to rotate.
The main quest line includes timewalking, timewalking keys in S4 SL has been a big hit, it makes sense to continue the old dungeons in rotation. I do understand your point on gear through keys though.
I'm catching up on all of T&E's videos before starting the game again, so this might be old content that has changed in the time since this video was made (so correct if I'm wrong), but 1 piece of Storm Sigil tier armor (chest, helm, etc) costs 10 tokens, and the cap on earning Storm Sigil tokens is 4 per week...so it would take 5 weeks to earn enough (20) tokens for 2 pieces? That seems like way too much...
Not that it's a bad thing - but now not only is dragonriding just the gryffon from GW2, but the chef event is straight out of GW2, as well! They've done that in a couple of xpacs, now. Still a cute idea, even in WoW, but I just thought it should be acknowledged that WoW is plucking good ideas from others!
Don't see the problem. They are taking quality features from other games and adding them into WoW. Other games do the same thing, it's better for the game and the player.
I hope you guys get to go to the Appalachian Trail together! I'm lucky to live along it in North Carolina. It's absolutely gorgeous especially during the fall. Oh, and thank you for the WoW news!
I agree that it would be super cool to have Cata dungeons in the M+ rotation, tons of them would fit fantastically, esp End Time with Nozzy's whole lore thing about the Infinite, or even WOTLK dungeons like Nexus (They wouldn't likely do that though, not with WOTLKClassic out) but to have HOV and COS (totally fine dungeons, I enjoyed them) feels a little disconnected IMO! There could totally be some in-game reason to revisit old dragon-y dungeons, like Caverns of Time type thing where the Bronze want you to go make sure everything's as it should be in the timeline. I dunno, there's still lots of time and it's subject to change still, but something to think about.
I enjoy your videos so much. They are very relaxing, fun, and funny to watch. Sooo I am sorry to inform you that I will need you to start putting out 3 videos per week. Yep, that is a big ask but I know you can do it. Who needs sleep anyways? Okay, what are you doing wasting time reading the rest of this post! Snap Snap!
I love the idea of mixing up the dungeons / loot tables after each season. But do it after season one. It is extraordinary unappealing to feel the excitement of the new zones in DF only to have to go to the capital, click on a portal, and then fly to the dungeon in an old/empty continent. Season one should feel like a fresh start, not like season five.
I only recently returned for Dragonflight in S4, and personally I am loving the dungeon rotation in M+. Wow has needed to make it's old content relevant for years, and this has at least started that journey. As long as the new dungeons are available as Normal/Heroic/Mythic difficulty, to enjoy at the start.
Honestly, I don't like the new timer. It's an RPG and it is just so immersion breaking to have a bunch of UI elements slapped above everyone's heads. I think a better approach would be- A: That the NPC just /yells at random intervals about when the boat will be there / when its there / when its about to leave. That way, you can also see it from further away. or B: They have a casting bar you can only see when you click on them.
WoW community is sadly not a role playing community, they are a bunch of min/maxers.. They also have a progression focused obsession. Therefore, there is no room for roleplaying when the only reward is "having fun" without a quantifiable high score board or a gear with better stats..
I think the mythic+ dungeons having time walking dungeons could actually be really cool if you consider some of the old trinkets being current again with the newer talents and mechanics.
The dungeon rotation controversy has been a kind of wild experience for me. Now I need to preface the following statement with a disclaimer: It isn't based on actual analysis of the involved dungeons, and in no way meant to invalidate any concerns regarding the selected dungeons. In my tiny little bubble (M+ was very much an overlooked feature in Legion for me), Halls of Valor was one of the prefered keys (oddly Maw of Souls happened to be the hated one). When the rotation was announced I was genuinely happy about HoV being included and really confused when I saw the reactions to it.
Wait, you are saying in retail people have to farm the same dungons again every few months, because the loot is upgraded? And that is considered a not horrible idea by players and will be continued?
Thinking on the M+ thing, I like Blizzard's idea, but I almost feel like season 1 should be the new dungeons and then season 2 on we mix and match with 4 DF and 4 TW.
To be honest the dungeon selection for Season 1 M+ for DF is fine. Pending on any new affixes being introduced the Legion Dungeons can still be challenging. Adding a MoP and WoD dungeon to M+ tier is rather interesting and treats the dungeon in a new perspective. I imagine Blizzard will rotate dungeons for Season 2 and so on and they did mention, at one point, they wanted to carry on the Creation Catalyst and using Valor to upgrade gear. With the current list of features that is availble for DF I rather keen and interested this time around to play WoW more compared to the beginning of SL.
I'm not gunna hold yall, I don't even play classic but I went back and REDID that DK starting zone just for the mount for my current DK that I've been playing for 14 years 😬
I would love it if they leveled up revamped vanilla dungeons from cata and included them, such as RFK, maybe add more abilities to mobs/bosses also more pandaria dungeons :D and Cata and maybe WOTLK dungeons would be nice too
‘Hi! I’m taliesin, and I’m about to give you all the news on WoW while keeping one hand on my big heavy microphone so it doesn’t fall over!’ ‘Knowledge is power.’
Can we get everyone watching this video to please submit feedback to Blizzard asking for no more seasonal valor caps, just like we have now in Season 4? So many of us only do dungeons, no raids. In game you can do this by: Game Menu, Support, Submit feedback or bug report, Submit a suggestion. Thanks everyone!
Cata dungeons were so good, actually enjoyed them back then. BlackRock Caverns was great. So many people die on Karsh Steelbender lol But everyone just remembers the bad stuff, which is how humans work but still it's a shame they over shadowed the good.
As a fun way to bond even more with your guild is bringing them to your house and fix this room!! I suggest a sofa in grey and maybe those who turn into a bed!!!
Personally I feel like 8 new dragonflight dungeons is not enough for the way they want to handle m+ this expansion. Let’s say we had 12 new dragonflight dungeons you could have had the whole first season be brand new ones and then the next season is the 4 that we’re missed off, potentially a mega dungeon with 2 community voted maps.
Look I was not gonna get it and renew my subscription but I saw this new loot window effects and instantly found my self buying the expansion and renew my sub!
You both look exhausted 🥱 bless 😍 I’m looking forward to the new set but I hope you two are chilling and taking time out with each other without thinking about WoW. Take care. Glhf 😘
To clarify, Storm Sigils are dropping on Beta and have been for several weeks. They drop randomly from mobs in the elemental invasion (though they might be more likely to drop from Rares) and are still limited to 1 per week per element. The vendor for Sigil gear also has chat options that let you check which invasion types you have done for the week. Obviously, its still beta so there could definitely still be changes, but overall the system feels mostly complete. The general timing of gear options aligns with the current sandworm gear, but with the added option of getting a weapon now (yay!). The only major issue I see with Storm Sigils now would be to make it account-wide somehow.
And much less fun than having the same loot table on mythic plus for the entire expansion, is doing the same dungeons every week and not getting the item you want THE ENTIRE EXPANSION, no I'm not kidding, I went through entire patches doing 10+ mythics a week and never got even half of the BIS items for my character. And the best part is having people that got every freaking item for their character on a couple weeks saying 'oh, that did not happen to me, therefore, this problem doesn't exist'
Personally I found not having the trinkets I'm used to using throughout all of shadowlands kinda vexing. Not having a Scale on my tank just feels wrong. Not having a changeling. I rather dislike having a new loot table in season 4, and I'm not looking forward to all m+ seasons changing the loot table every time so I have to figure out what's best. I like knowing ahead of time what loot has my best stats and what trinkets work best for my playstyle.
I really do not understand the motivations behind putting old dungeons in m+. like I'm a really really good healer cataclysm dungeons have a problem of having extraordinarily spiky damage that does not match our current tool set. maybe they've absolutely nailed the balancing. but this pretty much guarantees that I'm only going to stick to raids which is my preferred Warcraft content anyway.
Halls and Court are just a pain. I really wish they would let us have the new dungeons first so we can learn them then start the mix rotations at season 2.
Nah, I don't feel that way at all. Personally, I hate the min-max style of gameplay where players suck all the fun out of the game by rushing to find the 'meta' then just repeating that for the rest of the season. Honestly, what are you even playing for if your whole goal is to be done playing as quickly & efficiently as possible?
They've done the same thing they always do when the playerbase complain, went from one extreme to another. I don't understand why it's an issue to have all new dungeons in s1 and then 4 new and 4 old the following seasons. We level through them we want to stay in the Dragon Isles but no, we must go elsewhere. Very anticlimactic
Think Tali is still getting used to the camera. A bit flushed out and blending with the background. We should have all the new dungeons in the first season then go to mixed dungeons for the next ones. Let them all feel new when they're new.
I just started on classic, i dont want to load up my lock from legion and lose my artifact weapon. When Blizzard starts adding to endgame instead of replacing it ill reconsider.

Maybe we can have a voting system for more interaction from players.
ye and it should only count ppl with 1.4k rio or something so social retards vote don't count
I wanted to use the bear soul shape, but its run animation was rough. Not sure if they ever changed that.
Those Black Dragonflight Cosmetics have me very, very interested.
The choice of picture of Ion is just brilliant. Well played guys. Great episode, as usual
Chrovo needs an emote where he looks down at his belt to tell the time.
It's like when one particular fast food chain decides to start using pretzel buns, suddenly ALL OF THEM are using pretzel buns.
Looking forward to running the old dungeons again. Halls Was beautiful and I can see it causing issues for people :)
gIvE uP tHe AeGiS oR dIe!!1!1!1!1
if you don't skip the god damn shit in the mead hall WE'LL BE FINE...
I'm writing in my vote for Spiritwalker Ebonhorn.
1:03 when Taliesen says "yeah" it sounds like Donkey Kong gettin hit in Mario Kart 64.
i burst in laughter on the Baine joke =)))
If we can’t nominate a Tuskarr to lead the Black Dragonflight, then I don’t even know what we’re doing with this expansion.
Name a tuskar dude
@@TrueMeKazik Tusky?
So I didn't think that playlist was real.
I was wrong.
It's very real.
Snap Snap!
I agree that sounds like a deal
Excuse me? What about EBONHORN?! he's a black dragon tooo
Y’all do class reviews for upcoming expansions? I’m looking for something like that because I have no idea what to play.
The filling bars joke was so good
Wrathion or Sybellion? Why no Ebonhorn?!
Baron Sablemane is an OG and deserves love and attention!
I'd vote for Ebyssian.
So is it just a coincidence that the latest appearance of Ser Laenor Velaryon in House of the Dragon looks like Wrathion?
Honestly, I don't like the new timer. It's an RPG and it is just so immersion breaking to have a bunch of UI elements slapped above everyone's heads. I think a better approach would be-
A: That the NPC just /yells at random intervals about when the boat will be there / when its there / when its about to leave.
I actually became an engineering, a psychologist, and learned eight languages since the Jailer died.
It's already 14 YEARS ago, since WoW Wrath of the Lich King came out?
REALLY?
God, I'm old! ^^
Wait, you are saying in retail people have to farm the same dungons again every few months, because the loot is upgraded?
And that is considered a not horrible idea by players and will be continued?
right now all I want is an end-of-expansion Chromie time that makes all content max level so I have something to do for the next few weeks
Heya Tali and Evi, can you make a video about the state of dragonflight pvp at some point? So little information and I'm a bit confused 🙃
Thank you for the playlist!
Thinking on the M+ thing, I like Blizzard's idea, but I almost feel like season 1 should be the new dungeons and then season 2 on we mix and match with 4 DF and 4 TW.
I actually think this M+ rotation idea is awesome. Very keen.
Just got back into wow and y'all's videos were the first I came back to
To be honest the dungeon selection for Season 1 M+ for DF is fine.
I'm not gunna hold yall, I don't even play classic but I went back and REDID that DK starting zone just for the mount for my current DK that I've been playing for 14 years 😬
I did Court of Stars an estimate of two billion times. I wouldn't mind doing it again but it was a stressful skip when it was current content...
I, for one, like the chaos of a blue/pink/green background wall
Can we get everyone watching this video to please submit feedback to Blizzard asking for no more seasonal valor caps, just like we have now in Season 4? So many of us only do dungeons, no raids. In game you can do this by: Game Menu, Support, Submit feedback or bug report, Submit a suggestion. Thanks everyone!
Blizzard dont care feedback. Vide BfA and Sadoland.
Cata dungeons were so good, actually enjoyed them back then. BlackRock Caverns was great.
So many people die on Karsh Steelbender lol
But everyone just remembers the bad stuff, which is how humans work but still it's a shame they over shadowed the good.
well they did do a confusing blue post for slim kitty too saying all content then changed it too normal heroic mythic.
Who is the other black dragon that is competing against Wrathion? Did he appear in game before?
Yeah, he was in TBC & has essentially been the leader of the black dragons in Outland for all this time.
please add time stamp for each subject in video
Haven’t played in a while but watching a T&E definitely gives me nostalgic vibes.
Every dragon you have should be a skin for dragon riding. Period. I miss my Azure drake. Why can't my blue boi learn to fly? *cue Pink Floyd*
As a fun way to bond even more with your guild is bringing them to your house and fix this room!! I suggest a sofa in grey and maybe those who turn into a bed!!!
love how tali is sitting in the herman miller embody and evi is on an uncomfortable stool
I want RFC mythic lol. Waiting for the day.
so other than more grinding update is there anything else about dragon riding?
Personally I feel like 8 new dragonflight dungeons is not enough for the way they want to handle m+ this expansion. Let’s say we had 12 new dragonflight dungeons you could have had the whole first season be brand new ones and then the next season is the 4 that we’re missed off, potentially a mega dungeon with 2 community voted maps.
I know it’s easy to say this with hindsight but I am pretty salty about 4 old dungeons on the m+ pool for the first season…
We should get Well of eternity M+
it makes total sense.
The fact you have children and make a show at the same time is impressive. Keep up the good work.
Look I was not gonna get it and renew my subscription but I saw this new loot window effects and instantly found my self buying the expansion and renew my sub!
I think of these old expac mythic+ dungos are the M+ version of time walking?
You both look exhausted 🥱 bless 😍 I’m looking forward to the new set but I hope you two are chilling and taking time out with each other without thinking about WoW. Take care. Glhf 😘
Does tally know classic WOTLK is more populated then dead retail will ever be ?
I get wanting all the new dungeons first, I agree. But ..... everyone HAS been begging Blizz to make old content relevant again lol
Jade Serpent Temple is a pretty Goat dungeon imo!
Baron Sablemane. From Blades Edge. Very cool
I'm gonna clip tali saying "nice one, Ion" and play it after I complete tasks and need a pick me up.
Grats Evertil. Hope the kiddos are well
Heckin' off topic, but.. Could anybody pin down what the music is starting at 06:45?
But Tali didn’t managed to finish the FFXIV MSQ in that 3 years timeskip.
