- Uurgh, the curse of the awful thumbnails. Oh well.
This is my first attempt at vidding this pairing, and somethings a bit off. I think I'll try to make something better at some point, maybe after I've rewatched the series to pay more attention to their scenes.
I absolutely adored their interaction in Series 1 - it took so long to become clear that they were actually going there that I thought they'd be the next great romance of the show, since at the time Mary and Matthew's engagement seemed all wrapped up (look how that turned out). But somehow, I don't know, their scenes in Series 2 started to bore me. They were a little too angsty and repetitive for me. I think I'll always feel like there was some wasted potential there, but they were back on form in the Series 3 premiere - the Branson fitting in storyline was one of the highlights of the episode.
So yeah I sort of threw this together and I'm not sure I like it, but the songs perfectly fitting so...
As always, it'd be greatly appreciated if you could take the time to comment and what not :)

They were the best couple on Downton. Sybil was my favorite character since episode one. I find it hard to keep watching the show without her and without their love story. SO SAD. PERFECT VIDEO.

What do you think is going to happen next for these two? Time frame wise in relation to history, could Bloody Sunday be coming up? Seems like a difficult event to cover but it is pretty important!
