A faster way to defeat Saix (Critical Mode): Use Negative Combo + Fenrir. When the fight starts, move forward a little bit then immediately use all 3 ground finishers. IMPORTANT: Go to Drive menu and go to Limit form while the 3rd finisher is being done. Then, immediately transform into Limit form. Do 2 (not 3) finishers. Ripple Drive will knock Saix up. Do not attack until he lands. After he lands, do 2 finishers again. Repeat until you have less than 1 Form bar. Then, you will revert after you use Zantetsuken. Do not panic. Use Guard Break once and prepare for Limit form again. After Guard Break finishes, immediately transform to Limit form again and use Ars Arcanum (it must be Ars Arcanum, not other limits, or the damage will not be enough) and finish Saix. Last thing, remember to always transform to Final form before every Saix battle or Anti form will ruin your farming session.
this is gonna be useful i need to power up really badly for Lingering Will and i might as well make Donald and Goofy stronger as well while i am at it mainly def
Guys, i don't know about you, but I personally use reflect on Xemnas attacks. It does not only prevents you from his attacks, but also causes damage. Edit: I am talking about the first fight against him
It is faster to synthesize Power Boosts than fighting Xemnas. Fighting Xemnas usually takes 6 minutes each, while you usually can synthesize 14 Power Boosts every hour.

For years I didn't know you could mash both triangle and x button after you deplete data xemnas health all the way down and I just let riku loose some health then sora but I was really shocked when I found out.
I think I found a quicker way to get defense points. You have to fight Xigbar, but you need to have absolute and I really mean ABSOLUTE control of the final form. You have to combine fire magic with maximum quantity of combos you can do (I think it only works with critical mode). I don't know how to explain it, and I don't really know if it's a quicker way, but for sure is quick.
the best way to farm AP boosts is Luxord he used to be my hardest boss but after farming for master form and doing the thing in moon chameber he's no problem (he's the easier in crit mode since his dm does'nt restore his time gauge

Another way is using Peter Pan like shown in the video, at the start of the fight, summon Pan, then go up to Saix and jump and press attack once, land, repeat. Summon Peter Pan Jump, Press Attack Once, Repeat Gotta do it quick if not he'll break out.
Go to the Postern at Hallow Bastion and there will be a hole in the wall. Enter that hole and you'll be in the Cavern of Remembrance. Make your way through the Cavern of Remembrance and eventually you'll find your way into the Garden of Assemblage. Make sure you have your abilities like Glide, Quick Run and Aerial Dodge leveled up.
@@FatalGaming250 the hole isn't there..the wall is all still blue..I haven't been able to beat Sephiroth yet because I haven't played the game in a few years..right now I'm trying to max out the drives..I have beaten the main story but there is still puzzle pieces I don't have..I'm just not sure what all I need to do to get the door to appear
@@FatalGaming250 I was just playing the game an hour ago and was playing through bit the hole hasn't appeared..that's why I'm thinking I need to get something I don't have yet to be able to go into the room..do I need to have all of the puzzle pieces?
@@felixmeow660 The hole appears as you progress through the story. You mentioned that you've finished the game meaning that the hole should be there already.

Ok this is great and all but I was looking for a material grinding tutorial for crafting them because I need more power to even attempt these. I tried a few and died almost immediately.
I know this is an old comment but the way I do it is just do it over and over again at lvl 99 slowly you develop a strat like it took me 273 attempts (yes I counted) to defeat lingering will but just slowly develop a strat (:
@@randyroberts7581 273 tries just for one boost when you can just farm materials for boosts in less time. you could probably make 20+ boosts in the time it takes to do 273 attempts.
@@FinalFantasyFan66666 but you have to kill him for the trophy, which you must be going for otherwise there's no reason to kill these optional bosses, so if it takes you 200 odd attempts before you nail it and then can kill it over and over without any problem then you didn't spend any extra time since you'd have to make those attempts anyway.
@@mydogeatspuke The idea is to grind your stats to max before even attempting any of these bosses so that it's a thousand times easier and you don't have to frustratingly fight a boss 200+ times in a row.
This game is so ahead of its time
too ahead infact. the physics on this game actually quite good it made a lot pf ps2 games feel stiff.

You can do the Firaga Final combo in lower difficulties but it won’t be as consistent like Critical Mode due to the extra damage boost you get.

So Saix just breaks out of it when I try and do that strategy, like he breaks out when his berserk bar is full. How do you get around that?

How does your drive gauge show 9, mine only shows up to 6 even though all my forms are maxed including my level
Your drive gauge increases from defeating certain bosses like Sephiroth and Lingering Will so maybe that's why.

The ultima weapon works best i think, if i use fenrir he gets knocked away sometimes, with the ultima you have a much more controlled finisher

It could take a minute or 22 but after that it becomes incredibly easy I can kill lingering will without being hit so just slowly develop starta
