The mothkeepers make this thing, as it starts spawning two moths and sometimes one of them is purple and gives you or closest ally to it an overshield. The same way your grenades do.
Fun fact: if you run ex diris and mothkeeper's wraps, you can get a 2 moths per kill. One arc that attacks and one void moth that gives you and allies an small overshield. If you go a step further and combine this with arc subclass with spark of beacons and brilliance, you can have a build where everything is blind and you have consistent overshield. Strand Hunter with Mothkeeper's Wraps and Widow's Silk make this an add-clearing beast. For PvP, while I'm not the best, I think is utter shite.
ok honeset question why not test this whole video on hunter with mothkeepers?
I've always tried to approach my weapon breakdowns from a "class neutral" perspective and focus on what the gun itself it capable of, that way any player can take that info and apply it however they best see fit. The the more in-depth and class specific interactions, I generally save for build videos. 👍👍
What shader are you using?
On my chest piece (which I'm assuming you're referring to) I have Tyrian Abyss. It's one of those odd shaders where black/light blue/silver/white are displayed on the wheel, but on some pieces the dominate color ends up being purple. 😂🍻
@@IronworkerGaming Thank you. Gotta love Destiny Shaders! lol
I was hoping it would get a small pvp buff its ok i do like gls tho
The fact the gun can only spawn one moth makes it useless in basically every game mode
Ex Diris reload speed is an inside adult joke
😂😂😂
thx iron
You're very welcome, and thank you for checking out the video! 😁🍻
it still sucks tho, i love the gun but my lord it sucks
Man I’ve missed watching your videos. Haven’t played since the second week of July but I watched the full vid for ya. 🫡
I greatly appreciate that!! I had to take a big step back from Destiny for quite some time as well, but I think the spark to play is slowly retuning. I hope you're enjoying your break from the game!
I personally like to pair this with Stasis and Mothkeeper Wraps. Use the crystals to maintain high grenade energy. A lot of fun with it.
I've not yet used it on Arc since the idea of using Spark of Beacons never felt appealing since the Moth can already blind.
