I have me a 1985 Z50R that my dad bought me before he passed away back 2006 it was my first dirt bike. I had it stored away for all those years and finally decided to take it out. It was working and it started just fine with no problem kick starting. One day I wanted to take my nephews to ride it so I loaded it in the back of my truck and when we got to the destination I unloaded it and it just wouldn’t start. I don’t know much about dirt bikes or why it’s not starting and I have been trying every day for about a week now and i still can’t get it to start. It’s been driving me nuts. I was wondering if you could please reply so maybe we can discuss why it’s not working or if you can help me In anyway thank you.
I took your advice with the paint color. It came out looking amazing. I'm getting ready to paint my new aftermarket fenders. What did you use for a primer on the plastic fenders? 🤔
I love the color! Is it rustoleum Chevy orange? I'm trying to find a color similar for my 86
I took the original tank down to orilleys auto parts and I matched it up to their Chevy orange engine enamel. It was identical match. Use the engine enamel, it is oils and gas resistant!

My Uncle in 87 for 50 Bucks. What paint code did you use.
Can see you son losing skin on that exhaust also will melt the seat cover
Thanks for heads up, he won't be riding this only myself. It was very difficult to get this Exhaust system to fit without angling it outward and the only aesthetically looking position to mount it was the one its in now.
