Interesting fact about the ShirtsTuckedIn plateholder: the update that added plateholders to the game (2nd or 3rd update) actually had incorrectly named one of Fatlace's plateholders (IIRC the NotRocketBunny one) as ShirtsTuckedIn. They fixed this quite quickly though, so for a while I thought I was imagining things.
I have a theory that all these cars like the Punto and the TVR were never "cut" from the game. There is nothing except sound files and links to sound files, so I think these were merely just the temporary sounds they used during early development. In those early testing stages, realism and accuracy doesn't matter. They could've chosen to use sounds from literally whatever random cars, and IMO it seems like they did, probably from whatever they could get their hands on quickly/easily. I mean really, a Fiat Punto in NFS 2015??? That car is neither new nor iconic. The thing you will notice is that there is a wide variety of cars there, from a little cheap hatchback all the way up to supercars like the Zonda, that way they had a range of sounds to test with.

The catch being that your existing garage will be only accessible after completing a certain amount of the new story, or even all of it then you can bring forward all of your creations into the new game.
