- How Much TH-cam Paid Me in My First Month of Monetization! 💸 | Small TH-camr Earnings Breakdown
Want to know how much TH-cam pays small creators in their first month of monetization? In this video, I share my exact earnings after reaching TH-cam’s monetization threshold-1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours. I’ll break down how much I made, explain key metrics like CPM and RPM, and show you what you can realistically expect as a small TH-camr. Whether you’re just starting out or aiming for monetization, this video will give you a detailed look at the numbers behind the scenes.
However to be clear when my videos finally started making money i had 5,000 subscribers. But i still wasn't expecting the numbers i started to see coming through.

‘At this point I was deciding which colour of lambo to buy’ 😂😂😂
Congratulations. Very interesting, often wonder about this. Thank you for sharing that info
Okay. I’m both shocked by how little but also how much. Thank you for the transparency! I will sub to your second channel for behind the scenes. I’m definitely one of those people!
Yessss I love these videos and also love to see an Australian creator sharing their $ they make.
Love that you show off science and the facts and keep it real about how to keep gardening costs down
Amazing! THIS is the goal. Been following your channel since the avocado video. And just joined your new channel. Well done!
Hey I've come across your videos before! Love your channel!
thanks! It’s a whole heap of fun making content hey. And a heck of a learning curve.
Congratulations 👍 🎊 👏 💐 🥳 👍!!!
Sounds good, look forward to the new channel. The money you receive is well earned, love your videos. You have helped me a lot in my veggie garden.

I subscribe to sooooo many channels, and I've always wondered how much people make. Jumping over to your other channel now ....
man your video your voice an everything screams million sub youtuber to be honest. I just started youtube about 4weeks ago an now have 5k subs which is awesome cause i dont think i deserve it.
But like u said my watch hours seems like its gonna take a good year or more ahaha. But i started this for fun an another reason, but hey if i could get paid while doing something I enjoy seems great lol
Anyways blessings an keep it up brotha
Good onya champ!
Yes please show us. I have been following you for about a month or two. Thinking of starting my own channel but for me not to make money. I would just like to document what i do and how i do it then learn from my mistakes but also let other learn aswell.
Well thankyou algorithm for surfacing this little gem o a channel. And its in the right hemisphere so I don't have to do any season transpositions or try to work out freedom unit conversions in my head :-)
I am very interested in the 2nd channel. I've been thinking about starting a channel after my Cert 3 as a plant doctor. 😊
Love that you're seeing success! You make great vids
Love your videos
Good onya mate, all the best with the second channel. If you want a guest for a live or pre recorded video session reach out. Cheers Marty
I'm very excited for this second channel 😸
Congrats! 🎉
Thats awesome info thank you,
Ive just started recording the odd video around our farm and home garden and was curious about this :)
Love your garden vids by the way :) thank you
Congratulations
Congratulations mate
Hello! Nice little video, they are always helpful 😊. Did you fill out the tax exemption form for the US? You would still pay a tiny amount but you can also claim it back with your tax. Or claim a portion of it.
Green lambo.. hope you get one!
From one Aussie gardener to another- I’m really enjoying your content!
Congratulations! 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
Forgot to say last time...
What does your accountant say about the U.S. taxes? I was under the impression that the Oz govt didn't do 'double taxation'???
definitely get a green one :D
You may be entitled to a tax credit in Australia for tax paid in the US. You should get advice from a tax practitioner or give the ATO a call
Thank you for being honest I can see now why a lot of channels Start right off the bat with “give me a thumbs up subscribe give me a thumbs up subscribe before you even see their content those people will get neither from me, I will most often click away immediately before I even watch the video “ They have to prove they have a decent video/product before I even consider thinking about subscribing or give a thumbs up
The Audience knows the drill. You don’t have to beat us over the head with a begging and the suggesting.
I have TH-cam Premium so I don't see ads, but I'm pretty sure TH-cam contributes in some way for my view. 🍻
Yeah I see a breakdown somewhere, that a few % of the money comes from people with premium, so thank you :)
@@CulinaryGarden1 I've been curious what percentage that is, do share if possible
I haven’t seen a proper number but I have seen creators talking about on the individual viewer level, premium view are worth noticeably more than freemium viewers
But the premium value is a proportion of the time spent viewing his video and other videos so it also varies a bit
Are they Pokémon cards in the background?
What video shoot through the roof and have you figured out why.
It's my "5 Plants I'll never grow from seed" video. I honestly think it's all the comments disagreeing with some of the plants on there.
Especially because once it escaped my normal audience a lot of people don't know how much I advocate starting stuff from seed in all other videos. So I got a lot of hate comments telling me I should start stuff from seed haha
@@CulinaryGarden1 have they tried starting capsicum in Victoria without a heat mat then they would think twice
@CulinaryGarden1 😅 i think that's the vid that got me in. It's good to see an aussie gardener with the presentation skills you have. Good luck growing!
@@CulinaryGarden1that was the first of your episodes that I watched and it would have been in that time frame. I had typed in veggie gardening in south east Queensland 😂 earlier that day.
I had that video come up last week (home sick) and it piqued my husband's interest as he went past too.
I'm interested in showing this video (and more) to my 10yo who has decided he's going to make his fortune making TH-cam content.
Are those pokemon cards in the background?
Hell yeah! One of my video ideas I've had for a while is "trying to grow one of every plant Pokemon" where I grow radishes for oddish, and mushrooms for vileploom etc
I'm Ryan's brother and I will say they are either pokermon cards or magic cards 😂
Bro. You need a Union! Below the minimum wage. 😅
What happens if I watch a video again or a few times???? 🤔
Doing the math, I get a bit under half a cent per view I think. If you do nothing but watch my videos you'll make me about 3.5 cents an hour. 📈
👍
Amazing, your second channel has 10K more subscribers than this channel.
Not sure how you are monetized, most of what you say is absolute rubbish. Some people are just gullible.
Well this is quite eye opening! I primarily post on Instagram, but despite multiple reels cracking 1M views I’ve not made a single cent. I had one hit 7M views and thought I might see something, but still nothing. I wasn’t expecting to make a living off it, but for that to generate nothing at all surprised me. I’m now seeing why so many content creators use TH-cam!
