Jason, thank you for the opportunity to do this video for your channel! I hope your viewers find it informative and helps them in their journey finding the perfect boxing gloves. Keep up the amazing work brother! 🥊🙏🏼
I was looking at an RDX glove that boasted it had a grip bar for your hand to curl over. I believe I was looking at a 16oz but I will update this if not. Looking for a glove for heavy bags in the gym. I'm 47 so I don't know what else I'll be doing with boxing but I'm a member at UFC Fit on a 2 year plan so I could incorporate other gigs, classes, maybe sparring with a future gym acquaintance. Is the bar something I can benefit from? Thanks
I have seen multiple channels doing reviews of boxing gloves now and have to say Carlo is by far the best of them all. Super informative, gives loads of detail on the gloves, comparisons to similar types, you name it. If you are looking for a pair of new gloves, it's always worth checking if there is already a review available.
I would have to check out csquared boxing, I never even heard of it. I appreciate having another source to learn from. I love precision striking I been learning from JT for years also I learned a lot from expertboxing, coach Anthony, Fran sands, fight tips, Moreno boxing, mcload boxing, Marvin cook, master boxing, tom yankello . but I never heard of csquared boxing and I'm excited to check out some of there other content. I also train off and on at the bullethole (and boxing/kickboxing gym in Victorville CA) but I'm so glad I followed /learned from these boxing coaches on TH-cam, the combination between all these sources and hard work over the last 10years made me a decent and very confident boxer I am today. I love to learn when it comes to boxing, I'm always looking for something to learn. Thank you JT for all you do big shout-out to you for making me what I am today, I'm very greatful for having you and others like you with awesome knowledge you continuously keep putting out, that way the poor guy like myself could learn and keep growing in the sport. Thank you and God bless you and yours bro
My 2 favorite channels for Boxing Info. Precision Striking for techniques/training and CSquare for equipment reviews. Was pleasantly surprised both have collaborated. As an older guy here of 61, I have been physically fit my entire life, but just recently added boxing work outs to my fitness routine. Both your channels have been instrumental in developing my basic skills and using the right equipment for my entry level training. Thank You both for the quality videos. Your the Best...👍👍
How does the size of our hands and the wrap size affect the fit and safety of the hands and wrists? Should the gloves still feel a little loose or tight when we put the gloves on with wraps? I noticed the basic Everlast gloves are too tight for my hands with gloves with wraps, but some other gloves maybe are too loose. My hands are not that big.
Thanks JT. Carlo convicted me to get the Phenom Elite SG-210S Pro Sparring Gloves. Painful because they are $200.00 yet can’t pass when two of the best boxing TH-cam coaches come together in this collaboration video. Thanks 🙏🏼.
I found a new pair of twins special 16oz boxing gloves in my closet. I had them sitting in a bag for years and now it feels very hard. What do you recommend I do?
I think imma do a sparring and training glove and bag mitts and fight gloves my dream set up would be Fairtex/twins 16oz sparring 12oz fight glove winning SB3000 bag mitt and winning 12oz and 8oz velcro for pad work depending on whether I’m doing Muay Thai or MMA fights maybe I’ll get some winning 16oz lace up for if I wanna do boxing only sparring and some 7-8oz puffy mma gloves for sparring and 4oz gloves for my fight
hey Carlo, really loved the video, such good info. I have recently brought some rival rb10s. I tried them for the first time today on the heavy bag. They seemed ok at first but then my hands started to hurt. I was wondering is this just because they are new or because the d30 is just too hard? Any thoughts? Thanks Daryl

Tegarding training gloves I would add that most gyms won't let you use the same pair of gloves for heavy bag work and sparring, so you'll probably end up wanting two pairs of gloves anyways.
My short attention span watched the whole video. Am really thinking about getting into boxing or another martial art. About to order my first bag and join a beginners class.
I definitely would not recommend a pair of bag mitts for beginners because of the inexperience they may hit the bag wrong and damage their fist I’d recommend it only when they are getting cleaner shots and stuff
hey quick question I'm still new to boxing and I have pro competition boxing gloves as a gift from my uncle, is it good for hitting the heavy bag or do I need to buy another type of gloves?(sorry for my bad English)
Please advise: Over 60 yrs old, just want maximum knuckle and wrist protection for Heavy Bag. I am not going to spare, nor do mitt work. Please recommend 2 gloves under $95.00 for Bag Work.
@@bobwhite8360 no dude, I'm not training with the same size balloons on my hands that a 200 pound man wears. What's next you eject me to wear a size 12 Jordan just make you feel better.
I disagree about not sparring with 12 oz gloves. I think 12 ox gloves are entirely appropriate for women sparring or even 10 oz depending on the weight.

I think he is talking from his own experience. However, some of the women at my gym use 14oz gloves both to train and to spar.
10 oz gloves for sparring is perfect if you want to give your partner Brian damage and cte
