I was thinking of you guys. I just went through London, Corbin Somerset and down into Alabama. Now heading back North into Kentucky only on the western side. When I spent the night in London I heard a girl behind the counter said she's leaving the job at the motel and going to the Cookie factory. I'm heading into Benton Kentucky here soon visit with family and have dinner then back to Michigan
Great video Coyote's! Those apartments look too new and fancy to be abandoned so soon! Unbelievable, must have been some kind of management problem, surely somebody will buy them and bring them back to service! Thanks for sharing!👍
I’ve called London my hometown since the Summer of 1988, and they’ve been around longer than that. They were originally called Thunderbird Apartments, but changed to Plantation Apartments several years back. They were OK to live in, but several crimes were committed there over the years. You can still see what they looked like when people still lived there on Google Earth’s Streetview.
I really love y’all’s videos. They are like going on adventures with your besties. My dad’s family is from Harlan County. My grandfather was a Baker and my grandmother was a Howard. My grandfather was a coal miner and he died of black lung. It is really beautiful country. Happy Mothers Day, Mrs Coyote💕
@ginistonebrook1716 I'm from Harlan County Kentucky too born in 1977 my daddy's name was CHARLES CLAYTON THOMPSON THE THIRD born in 1951 & died in Englewood Florida in 2017 & buried in Harlan County Kentucky I'm related to Howard, Turners, Jones, Caudills, Adams, Thompsons, Coldirons,Pace.
I wasn’t born in Harlan County, just my dad, grandfather and grandmother. We only visited my grandparents a few times, while I was growing up. I just remember the hills of Kentucky were beautiful.
My dad’s name is Coleman, his brother’s name is Jim and his sister’s name is Evelyn and I believe they had a sister, who passed away when she was young, named Helen. My grandparent’s names are Arthur Baker and Anna Jewel Howard.
You're exactly 💯💯 right,All of these abandoned Buildings all of Our American Homeless Military Veterans, something isn't right here,it should be against the Law for developers to come in and buy these places just to demolish them,it takes millions of dollars per building just to demolish them,They can take that exact same money, fix them up and given to Homeless American Military Veterans, free and clear, until they can get back on their feet.
There was a place outside Mt. Sterling like that.... abandoned, but from the road didn't look all that bad. Just one building, though....not like those Those apartments look early 1970s...to me, anyway. Is that place near Flealand? Used to be a Sara Lee bakery in London... downtown smelled like fresh dinner rolls...
Looks like they're trying to put up new drywall inside. That may be due to mold. If they fix it and fill it up with immigrants; it'll look like this all over again, next time. I don't believe they have a lot of 'projects' down in your neck of the woods. Otherwise, I could see it being in this shape. If you fill it with 'low income', it usually creates new issues, such as increased crime, etc. This will lower other real estate values in the area. Good luck.
With copper prices now at four dollars, the wrong Bunch come across these they will be ripped apart for sure. But that will take a little work Most are willing to work for it

Those places look nice. People would love to live in them. Hope they will be renting them before long!
Sadding to see buildings just rot away and go to seed . Hopefully, this area is refurbished. Great video!

where were you guys at thursday?ya werent at the ribbon cutting for our new fire station.
So sorry we missed that Danny, I would have really enjoyed it, my wife said to say hello to you, she really enjoyed meeting you.
They need to help the homeless and other people. It’s a shame these places are just left to rot away

Those look like some here in Louisville.
They look nice with a little work they would be OK but I could not live around that many people
If someone remodels them, they'll be in the same shape they are now within a few years if rented, unfortunately people don't care anymore
Housing here in Washington state ...is really bad
Strange.
Thanks for watching Tom!
You're out roaming again. 😂

The hoodie was a gift from our daughter, not sure where she got it, we'll check and see.
@@IgnitedCoyote ok thank you I sure would appreciate it God bless y'all
People leave when the jobs dry up. With no money; they would move to find work. If the place was flooded no one would want to live there.
Watch out for creatures.
Who knew ?
Hopefully the feds don't move a slew of illegals into that mess.
Government looking for housing for new people in the country.
Mask up
Too much money
They look like low income ..and they might lost prements
