Wow what a mature answer to the reporter who asked about the defense. Raiola showing class and leadership. The future is bright, even in this hard moment
Instead of asking questions, someone should have told him that we are proud of him. He played his heart out and he didn't get any help from the defense. As he mentioned he takes the blame, but he should know we are loving what he's doing and to keep on keeping on. It's been amazing watching him develop more each game.
He's got family for that these are journalists haha come on
Give him a participation trophy too lol gimme a freakin' break
Man, someone go give that kid a hug. 90% of why we lost was not his fault, it just ended spectacularly bad so he thinks so. He's 19 and thinks the weight of the world is on his shoulders. The other team was just better tonight.
Dylan was the only reason this game was even competitive if we are being honest…..he hides a lot of flaws on this Nebraska team even some of the coaches 😬
This kid is great!! Mature beyond his years he's going to do to fantastic things for the Huskers. GO BIG RED!!!
He's a mature young QB. The future is bright. GBR!!
People underestimate how good Illinois really is. If the huskers would have had a mediocre defense, Nebraska would have gotten blown out by this Illinois team. The defense still hung in there even though things got a bit messy and the pretty much beat themselves. Nebraska looked tired towards the end and Illinois still had a lot of fight in them yet and I think that was a big game changer at the end. We still have a great team overall and some Husker fans shouldn't give up on the team over one game. I think Dylan needed this kind of interview for a reality check and this will make him a stronger player as the season goes on.
Agreed. Illinois plays PSU next week. Penalties wore out the defense.
Dylan played great. The defense was a huge mess overall.
The problem with sports is people want to shine a light on a missed pass at the end of the game. Nebraska wouldn’t have even been in a position to win if Raiola hadn’t made so many clutch throws.
The loss comes down to penalties and I’m sure they’ll clean that up this week. How many drive extenders did we give Illinois for having hands around the face mask? At least 3 or 4 and those drives led to points.
Illinois played a very fundamental game, minimal mistakes, and it paid off in the end.
Raiola needs help, he needs guys to get their heads right now. Losing games because we’re yanking on Facemasks is stupid.
Raiola had a great game. He's a freshman that made some freshman mistakes. Bad call trying for a 39-yard FG with a back-up kicker. Soft defense, that call, and special teams lost this one.
Wow, after 1 loss, ONE LOSS! Some of you in Husker nation are being very negative. Some of you act as if this team should be the best ever! You know Colorado thought that last year, and how'd that work out? Well, we aint Colorado, we're better! Rebuilding takes time. Thats how it works! This is still a very, and I mean, very good football team. They just need to work out a few kinks and they'll be fine! Go Big Red!
I think your right it's just one loss. Dylan is a Awesome Qb
Good answer. People get way to delusional and set themselves up for disappointment
Nebraska has been “Rebuilding” since 2003. I remember when Nebraska went 10-3 in 2003, Solich got fired, and people said: “We need to REBUILD.” I said: “REBUILD???!! Why do we need to REBUILD after going 10-3???!!!! REBUILD??!!! We needed to keep our COACH and keep winning!!” They said: “No, we need to REBUILD. We need to get rid of The Option and Modernize and Rebuild.” So ---- WE ‘VE BEEN REBUILDING SINCE 2003!!!!! REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD

@@wildmercuryfilmsSit down before you hurt yourself.
Dylan balled out. His INT was a 50/50 ball and his WR didn’t make the play. This team still has some growing up to do, but a lot of improvement from last year.
It was 6 points and Neyor gave up on the possession prematurely
You played a hell of a game, hold your head high.
Sooo.... THIS is how you don't throw your teammates under the bus after a tough loss. Take notes "other quarterbacks". Dylan did his part. Everyone can see where the shortcomings are. We'll be alright. It's only year 2. All you guys that said "I'd be happy with a 6 or 7 win season" before the season started go ahead and stand up. You guys can't complain now! We're still on track. Feeling bad for Purdue because NU is gonna wanna score 150 just to send a message. GBR!
This KID owns it like a grown ass man.. it’s on him defense showed up he miss a couple throws he’s fucking 19 playing against 5year seniors.. mad respect to Dillon
Great game - could have gone either way. I like what he said… ‘Win lose or draw, keep going.’
Raiola gets it. He's been around football his whole life. We are still rebuilding and would have lost this game bad in recent years. This game was a step back but I think we are heading in the right direction.

@@wildmercuryfilmsYou only need to say it once, durnbass.
@@wildmercuryfilms It's the beginning of Rhules second year. Frost did the program no favors. I remember when they wanted to run Osborne out of the program. Give it some time lets see what happens.
It was fucking tough to watch. But, honestly, skill positions worked hard as hell. Bro hates to lose, and that’s a great mentality.
It feels like a curse, but I still have hope and I think any sane person could see the hope.
Great game, was rooting for you guys…From a 🦆 fan! 👊🏻🏈
Honestly I'm sick of Nebraska fans throwing their hands after a single loss. This game looked NOTHING like last year. We actually fought the whole game.
The no call late hit was unforgivable in OT. These refs are literally the worst and are actively a 2nd team against NE in every game.
Dylan had almost 300 yards passing.
To the negative fans I got a question - when have we EVER had a quarterback who can make throws like he does on a regular basis and not even look rattled (until OT)?... oh and he's a freshman.
Let's take a big chill. Sometimes the biggest lessons come from the losses. And if you think this one loss means we won't get to a bowl or win 8 games... wow... that's the most stupid thing ever.
How about the blatant face mask by Nebraska on the Illinois QB that wasn't called? Everybody in the stadium saw it!
@@chaschas3199 yep. Should've been called too. The refs are horrible period. But Nebraska definitely got the short straw
Bro DYLAN keep your head up love this team love the staff GBR till the day I die 🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥🤘
Wow. Alot of the offensive personnel really underperformed. He had by far the best performance. But he's STILL taking it all on himself. Very impressive demeanor and mindset.
Ayyy you know they fear this man's future. Learning curve.
The only people freaking out about one loss, is the people saying people are freaking out about one loss. There are more Karens out there complaining than there are disappointed fans. Huskers played great, we just fell short on the endurance race. First time our starting offense played 4 full quarters let alone OT.
What a wonderful young man! Gracious, professional, focused; he's a great leader at 19 & will only become better. We're blessed to have him as QB. GBR!
Honestly it could be a good thing for Dylan, take one on the chin. CFB is not sweet… there will be hard days. Let’s see the bounce back.
Dylan and the offense kept us in the game. The defense got cooked
Good answers by the kid.
He will be great, we will be great! Lot of season left
God Bless you
This kid is a field general. I still feel like i want thie ball in his hands any momebt of the game...
I don't think they played any better, a no call taunting at the miss kick was BS, as was the late hit no call at the end that would have given us a 1st down, we definitely were on the short end of the penalty calls
Loser
Wasn't a late hit. Your buddy turned around like he was going to keep running...that's what nebraska gets for getting such a big head so early this season
IL ran the ball down our throats.
Dillon missed 12 tds so far from my count yea he getting a chip
Riola played with heart. I know he is passionate about his teammates. However, I don't think think the O line was there. Defense was not expected as to par.
Illinois played just a little better tonight. In 10 games with them it would ho 5/5 or 6/4. No clear dominance either way; other than who has a brighter future between the two teams - GBR forever and a day!!!!
No participation trophies!!! “Day by day “!!!
He is young and talented QB,worth the hype.Growing pains but will payoff.GBR....
Keep your head up it’s only one
What needs to be said is coaching cost us the game! Yes, it was a wide open throw in the endzone that Dylan missed. He's a freshman QB. Mistakes will be made. The focus should be, why didn't our OC insist on getting the next 1st down on that 3rd down? Should have been 2 runs for the cpl yards needed for another 1st and goal!!! Why take the chance with the unknown? A backup kicker? This loss is on the coaches!
Lol 😂😂 go Illinois!
Hold your watch up
Play calls 3rd and 3 should have been a running play. The running game average is over 3 yards a carry. Coach needs to take the blame. Kicking from left hash hasn't worked for the season so far. This kid has done more for nebraska as a red shirt freshman than Coachng staff for the last 10 plus years. Play calls, problem under pressure.
Dylan will be great °°
When you act like a fool because your beating teams like UNI and UTEP, you're bound to receive some payback. It's karma.
The hype this year has been out of control. We are obviously better than in the past. You cant win them all. Relax & enjoy that we arent the total embarrassment we were under riley & frost
One loss and everyone is freaking out the quiete fans that was at the game where was the engery when the huskers played Colorado hmmm if you wanna be quite stay hime and let the fans cheer like no other
Dylan the defense was the problem and penalties..
NU hasn’t been able to put together a solid 2nd half all year. Illinois tried really hard to loose this game, but NU would not let them. Illinois isn’t really that good. The killer instinct isn’t there. Maybe NU isn’t that good either… 🤔 ☠️
Nebraska defense just was lost in this game they got really exposed and that's what it came down to whoever defense could hold the other ones office was going to win the game
Go ILLINI!!!
Poor throws cost us the game. Ego should be knocked down a notch or two.
My concern about Dylan is his inability to move around in the pocket. If he was quicker and could run more he could be really special
He’ll get there…
Give him time.
This guys gonna win a Heisman next year. Just watch
Be yourself instead of a follower😂😂😂
I ve changed my mind on win totals for this team 6 and 6 or7 and 5 thats it
He needs to work on ball security. Can’t run around in the backfield with one hand on the ball
You'll NEVER win with 48 yard's rushing!!!
Million dollar bum
The "N" does stand for knowledge.
Why don't you run your mouth in person. Please.
Think about what you said. Tool
If ONLY you could come up with a joke that isn’t 60 years old. Now, swallow my load, Donald.
Nebraska sucks!
Donald swallows.
He leaving next year no doubt. Nebraska is serious cheeks. Fight on ✌🏼
You lost to a real university. UIUC is education first. No Osbourne cheating allowed.
Man you’re spending a lot of time in our chat. Guess you are not used to winning.
You’ve got a good coach, for sure. No concerns there.
But trolling a 19-year old’s post-game video? At two or three in the morning?
Is that UIUC class showing out?
Mahomes my ass 🤣. Guy will buckle under pressure against solid opponents. Good luck with the 2 wins left on the schedule. Try being Dylan NOT PATRICK. OVERRATED!!!
“and I will be entering the portal on Sunday”
Exactly Nebraska is just a cursed program that’s all it is
I’m afraid of that
He’s certainly not happy in this press conference
Transfer before it’s to late. Only dude on the team worth a shit. Rhule has never beat a ranked power 4 team.
He makes a lot of nil buddy
@ryanmacke150 You know it’s the first year of the power 4 right?
@@michaelvibritannia yeah and you know it’s all the same teams right?
@@ryanmacke150 it’s not tho. pretty close, but it’s not the same exact teams.
“to late”? It’s “too late”. What inferior school did you go to, durnbass?
Too much dressing up tryna look like mahomes and not enough practice
😂😂😂😂😂😂
