This guy has become one of the most trustworthy players on the whole team as this season has progressed (the complete opposite of our kickers for instance). He is getting better each week and is way ahead of last year. His fumble strip early set a tone, his tackling throughout, and a batting down of a screen showed he's all over the place. Nash and Ty need to start doing the same with their games if we are to make a bowl game this year. Last night's loss was big towards bowl eligibility.

“We know we were the better team but didn’t play like it” John….. I know you have to be as sick of saying that as I am of hearing it… just do it man

Why can I not find Tony White answering questions about leaving the sidelines wide open in OT??????? Everyone is on YT but him.

NIU exposed the fact we aren't that physical, big ten will pick up on that. Illinois figured it out, so will everyone going forward. Sorry for the kids, not sure how they can fix that. Hopefully Dylan stays here, to talented to keep losing this way.

He had a wide open Tight end in the end zone. He can’t blame everyone else and ditch lol that would be a crazy cop out

It wasn't physicality last night. It was scheme, coaching, and mistakes.

Here's a major problem that Nebraska football team has and that's the coach when you have a cold telling you before a game or this is going to be a tough game they're tough they're this and that blah blah blah you plant those seeds in your players head you plant that fear in the head if you look at Indiana's coach Illinois coach and how they talking to their teams we come here to win we playing with the energy we keeping it going we ain't fear nothing we come here to win that's a major difference then are we playing a tough team they got this and they can do this and they got big running backs and you cut your own throat when you do that and that's what Matt rule been doing I tell any coach your major job when you coach your team is being able to motivate your team to the level that they feel like they can walk through walls Barry Swisher was the master of that so when you got a team coming in to play Illinois I don't care what day it is but this particular day was the 400 sellout add whole pack Stadium you should have your team so fired up they feel like they can walk through walls because I told people 3 or 4 days before the game that if Nebraska played their game this game would not be close at all but when you have all this Talent and you don't know how to feed that into your players and they don't have that confidence in themselves and as a team they don't have that confidence you got a problem

The defense was awful. I don’t think Illinois is going to make much noise this year. They weren’t that impressive on offense.
