My eyes keep drifting to the left sky, which is so empty. I think i would consider some stars, or a moon. The moon would provide the reflection on the bubble. If I could do without dimishing the impact of the mouse and bubble, I'd give that a try.
Thank you for your comments Jean I’m not sure if your on the fb craft with card-io page but there are many different versions of the frozen bubble card there some with added moon as you suggest, some with different colours and animals. It’s great to see all the interpretations and as the tutorial is there as a guide lovely to see how different people can make their version look, in that respect we all inspire each other don’t we which is lovely xx

I used a posca pen Yvonne but you can use any similar white pen and there’s also a white pastel pen and white highlighter on the card-io website hope that helps xx

Occasionally I crop a picture and remount onto a bigger card if I think it looks better framed or if I mark the back with ink haha but nearly always I just do the design straight onto the card as in the demos hope that helps xx

I had a stroke in January 2020. I then when at home again had a bad fall and ended up back in hospital. Had tests-48hrheart monitor. One year later I got the results. They said I had AFib and that's what had caused stroke. Still working to try and get myself better.
So sorry to hear what you’ve been through Trace but glad you have been diagnosed now so hopefully you and the clinicians can take care it wont happen again. Crafting is a very mindful thing to do when you’ve been unwell so I hope it is helping aid your recovery. Sending you my very best wishes take care 🥰
Is that just regular masking tape? I want to do framing with masking tape but it messes up the paper... can you tell me if there is a certain kind of tape for this? I love your work! Thank you!
Hi Mary the tape I use is indigo blu masking tape and have never had a problem with it damaging the surface of the card. Test out s bit before you start if you are worried hope that helps xx

Such a great idea 💡 Be careful using Poscas inside a stencil as the nibs may get cut. Best to use pencil then retrace the line.

I know the distress oxides are part pigment. Would this work well with dye inks, which will dry faster?
