Hi Ken, you definitely improved the layout and structure of your Washington Franklins. It is very neat and logical now. I really love your albums and how you arrange your stamps and the information tables with them. I also really like to see how you work on your albums and what you do. So much to learn from you and take in consideration when in (the distant?) future I will move from stock books to album pages. Thanks for the video as always!
Wow Ken I love your system. However, I do have a big favor to ask you. I too have a collection of Washington and Franklin stamps Would you ever consider making me up some pages like you have. My collection is so unorganized and I would love to be able to do what you have done. I will pay you with cash, check, or PayPal, which ever you like. I have been a member of ebay since 1998 and really respect Stampers. Thank you for your channel and efforts in keeping us Stampers entertained.
Love how you organize your albums Ken - very nice revision! I have accumulated a lot of unused mounts from box lots and your example has me thinking about doing a sub-collection the same way. I was thinking about doing this for my machins when I get there.
Nice! I've never used split back mounts so it was neat to see them in action. And I was curious where you put your knees when using your nifty cart, and got a sense of that too! 😊 I just wrapped up pages for my Australian definitive issues this afternoon and I was thinking about how much we have in common and what we do differently. I really appreciate your in-depth videos.
Yea that cart would be nice if you could put your knees under it and maybe if it could curve to right and left a bit more to give more desktop room. Good idea.
I'd love to see what you do differently and the same. Thanks for watching. As for my knees--I don't use the cart as a desk. Usually, I set it aside where I'm working. It's more of an easy transport for catalogs, albums and a working project on the top. I do my work either on my lap or on a nearby table. When I do work on the tabletop of the cart, I sit sideways to it.
If I made space for my knees, I'd lose space for the catalogs. But, that's okay, it's a cart not a desk, fundamentally. I like the small size for moving around the house with lots of storage for books.
Very nice video. Nice to see your method. I think yourr new update/approach is nicer and neater. I really like reserving places for stamps that you don't have. I like your new work bench too. Was wondering: what kind of paper do you use, weight, but also: do you print them yourself? The rounded edges make it such classy pages. Have you done all your definitive collections from other countries this way? And it is so satisfying adding the stamps you bought where yiu previously didn't have space for. Thank you for the video!
I'm really happy with how the new pages came out--indeed, much nicer and neater. I use a 67lb cover stock from Staples. For the rounded edges, I bought a corner punch (Fiskers, I think) at a craft store. I show that process in one of my early videos. Yes, I've done the same thing for other countries: Great Britain, Germany, Canada, France, Australia, Japan, and Ukraine so far. More to come.
Interesting thought. I purposely didn't put the tables on the back facing pages because I want to be able to reprint/fix them without remounting. I guess there are only so many good ways to sort a collection like this.
Was wondering when I watched the previous vid what u were going to do when u got more issues since there were multiple sets on some pages. Still a good format though. You also have room for any varieties such as Sher Mack printings and or color varieties etc. Shame that the $5 has such a sloppy pen cancel. Not amused with the changes that Scott has done with the newer updated pages for the Wash/franklins making it somewhat confusing but some fixes that help. Well was told on the trimmed copy a lot of people in the company mailrooms had a propensity to cut stamps apart with scissors and having to do hundreds of mailings a day didn't care what the stamps looked like as long it shows the current or needed postage value for the mailing. Have some Davo albums for UK but it's way to expensive to continue. I found some Scott Uk albums complete pages up into upper 2000's for a lower price. The only thing I plan to do is make some pages to take care of the phosphor and varieties that the Gibbons and other higher end albums do in order to make them more complete. Your setup along with Ted's stamps is giving me some ideas on how to get this done.
So interesting about the trimming. I've been ascribing it to fakery. There is some wisdom that says, "Never ascribe to malice that which can be ascribed to stupidity." I make take a lesson. I've found that the price of albums is one of the biggest obstacles to making a good collection. Many people spend more on the container than the contents, although that's true for so many things.
One more thing Ken. I have my own zoon account and I would be more than happy to send you my credentials and meet you VIA zoom and I can show yo my messy collection compared to what you have. Please let me know if i'm off base with my request and if I am I am sorry but I do love your setup. Please help me out😮💨
Good evening! We have an excellent addition to our collection. This is a great addition to any collection.
I'm really happy with it. Enjoy the collecting
Good afternoon, and welcome back. We have a great collection for you.
Hi, I’m afraid I don’t buy through this channel. Happy collecting

Thank you so much
And your using the new cart too! How exciting
It's working well. I use it all the time.

Drop me an email -- it's in my channel notes. I can share my file and help you get set up.

Thank you, and have fun with those Machins
Very nice collection
I'm amazed at how those oddly good examples pop up in the inexpensive lots I buy. It's nice and getting better.
Nice collection! I like your system of organizing, i might need to adopt it form you
Adopt freely and share how it goes
Great video!👍
Thank you! 👍

Have you consideret to print all the info on the back og the page, but for the stamps on the front of the next page?
glad to see a new video!
Yeah--it's a great thought. I decided against it because I didn't want to have to remount the facing page every time I decide to update a table.
Well…. You almost followed the Gibbons album method. Had you placed the tables opposite the stamps… you would have nailed it.
Interesting thought. I purposely didn't put the tables on the back facing pages because I want to be able to reprint/fix them without remounting. I guess there are only so many good ways to sort a collection like this.

You accidentally just invented the Stanley Gibbons album pages.

We'll coordinate after we connect on email.
Ken, 👏👏👏👍👍👍💪💪💪 🥰, 1908 - 22 US stamps, I just touch then make me 😵💫, only 1 cent 45 variety? 2 cents 65 variety? 3 cents 19 variety? etc etc etc 😵💫
There are a lot of them. I'm starting to feel the same way with the Machin head's I'm working on.
Hi Ken, I remember Machin head, it is over 2000 variety including back gum if you collect mint, good luck 🤭🤭🤭
