I recently purchased a Mendini pocket trumpet. Not a bad little traveling horn. You should compare two or three cheapies, and recommend which one's better.
I got the gold varnished version (would have preferred silver but it was out of stock). It's a surprisingly good instrument so far. The tuning is tough but I'm just using it for fun anyway. Definitely worth the tiny price tag to use as a neat toy or travel practice instrument since if it gets broken or stolen it's no big deal. Would be fun to go busking with.
I got heavily liquored up and ordered 2 shawarmas and this mini trumpet and power puked alllllll over the floor immediately after. Shawarmas were amazing hope this things just as good 👌
No. Pocket trumpets have more resistance because of the more tightly wound tubes. It's better to learn the fundamentals an a normal Bb trumpet and get a cheap pocket later once you know how to play.
