How long ago was this video filmed ? its summer time should be plenty of leaves and way to warm for a hoodie ......doesn't stop my theory clint was abducted by aliens
We got the leaf police here 😂
Supposedly he no longer is with classic firearms. Im located really close to classic and its been 80-85 every day these past two months.
Right it’s 110degrees as I’m watching this video 😂
They probably film faster than they can edit and upload
Looks like he joined GOA per LinkedIn
Gonna miss you, Clint!
Where's he going?
As a left handed shooter....piston is a must while suppressed. Before anyone says anything about going with a left handed ar. A standard ar is better set up for a left handed shooter.
Honey Badger blood blisters. They get everyone, once.
Big facts
Lackluster keeps the 5-0 accountable and loves his guns!
Good to see you again stranger
No leaves on the trees. This was taped months ago. Is Clint gone?
Can’t wait!
Wish I was going to make it bro! Next time!
benefits for suppressor wrap? could you do the same with an exhaust wrap for a car? is it the same thing?
I heard some pretty fuddy information in this video. The false claims of accuracy advantages with DI was more cringe than the rest of the fuddlore
Thanks Clint
Thank you
Did the DI gun have an adjustable gas valve?
If Clint doesn't come back full time. I'm boycotting
All of my AR's are DI but i do own AK's and they're PD's and carbon fouling in the chamber and carrier assembly isnt heavy.
Piston of course. Anyone who has shot both will, well should agree
I'm glad there's finally an LMT test, but you forgot to put an LMT 2 POSITION PISTON PLUG in that R20 when you decided to use RC2. Thus you've actually tested the piston on an 'adverse' gas setting. Kind of missed the whole point of going piston, TBH.
I know how smooth and soft the LMT piston runs on a traditional can, this ain't it.
@GoldenWebb If you see this, for the love of God, please put the piston upper on the correct spring/buffer and gas plug(if suppressed).
Placing suppressor back pressure on any gun will blow carbon into the action.
Do this test unsupressed.
We have wasted 200 rounds.
Even with a low back pressure RC3 it’s quite dirtier than unsuppressed! Lots and lots of cleaning
My question is what's the wear difference between the two on the bolt. With a DI rifle, part of the gasses are actually relieving pressure from the lugs on the bolt and preventing wear
what about dwell time in short barrels?
I’m so glad you chose the RC2, I’m tired of everything trying to be flow through
Yeah way too smart
Same. I mean, I get it, that’s definitely where things have been trending the last few years, but it gets a bit tiring.
And especially for a comparison like this (that’s all about the gas and carbon coming back into the rifle) a flow-through suppressor wouldn’t necessarily give the most accurate sample.
In fine m16 family is a piston operated gun, the piston is in the Bolt carrier group
Would be nice to see a comparison btween di, long stroke piston and short stroke piston.
Was about to post more rounds are needed but Clint made me delete comment. Very dope video let’s get that next one on the way!
I’ve been going back and forth between PWS piston and BCM DI. I can’t choose.
I've heard great things about BCM and wouldn't hesitate to buy one, but have never fired one. I do own a PWS MK 116 Mod 2 and absolutely love it. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. It's light, and recoil is still rather mild due to the progressive venting of the gases. I think the PWS's are largely slept on, but I'm biased for sure. Put in a JP silent buffer spring and it's a dream.
Go BCM MK2 CHF 14.5" with a pinned suppressor capable muzzle device. Lightweight, tough, and reliable. You'll love it.
Both are vreat options and you won't be disappointed with either
Good choice on which uppers to compare!
I also have an LMT DI along with LMT Piston setups (16 inch barrels on both). The Piston stays cooler AND cleaner on mine. And the accuracy hit on the piston isn't really noticeable until you push past 400 yards.
The same thing that happens to every DI gun in a meltdown. The gas tube gets too hot and warps to failure.
I would like a flow through vs blow back carbon build up test.
I like direct injection more than ported
What
Do you mean you like direct impingement more than piston? Otherwise, stop smoking whatever you’re smoking. It’s not helping, or you need to smoke more………….
LOL 😂
no ports in this video
So I’m a lefty I plan on putting together my first ar pistol with a oss flow thru suppressor… IM JUST STUCK ON which upper I’m going to run… I’m stuck between the BCM BFH QRF 11.5 and The PWS 11.8…. I want the least gas possible to my face… this is a CQB Rifle.. I don’t plan on using this past 100 yards. I already have the Gas defeating charging handle… any advice?
...i'm pretty sure i watched this a couple months ago? wonder if CF got hit with weird youtube removals
Long stroke = best stroke. You need to have a PWS upper in this mix.
Absolutely
Which rifle makes a self-ignition first is the question
Clint, I would like to know which is better for shooting both suppressed and un-suppressed, your standard gas block, or an adjustable gas block.
Get a BRT EZTune Gas tube for fully suppressed and/or 50/50
@@street-rides Thx.
What about gas to the face? That's a common complaint of suppressed DI guns.
ALSO, is Clint on deployment? I'm guessing that if he were no longer with CF, they wouldn't be showing videos with him in them.
In terms of shooting comfort though, do Piston guns expel less gas in the shooter’s face than DI guns?
You mean indirect gas impingement? Not quite direct impingement. That's why it's so smooth.
Both make me satisfied.
Was the secret word shared? I did not hear it, see it or read it in the transcript.
Yeah, clint made classic firearms what it is today. The other guys just don't compare. Feel free to come back to classic please!!!
I run superlative piston and adjustable DI systems. I'd say piston is maybe 25% to 50% less fouling. Lots of variables.
Cold out? Its June!!!
Yaaa baby LMT!
This was definitely filmed early 2024, definitely not recently. Oh well, great video anyway. LMT or die.😂
Piston is much much cleaner suppressed.
I'd love to see this with a pistol as a professional secret agent spy I only suppress pistols
Long Stroke > Short Stroke
My GF agrees
This is definitely before Clint announced he's leaving Classic...
Yea. Way before. Lol
Neither are better
Both are better
This is the right answer.
Glad Clint is still here 🔥🔥🔥🔥
PSA: Clint knows nothing about what he’s talking about…. The piston just had a hole in it
It ain’t cold outside
It was during filming lol
When yall eventually do videos on the Q Boombox you should compare it to a Robinson Arms Xcr in 8.6. Besides that, glad yall are steady posting.
Are they making an 8.6 barrel for the XCRm??
@@MrCashewkitty indeed, as well as mid-length rail for the m.
@@neilmifsud1001 I don't own one but the M is the best battle rifle I've shot. I've shot most of them too
Piston hands down
I prefer a piston gun💯
A little parting gift for cf? A last bit of monetized content... With viewers. Jason and aa-ron are cool. Kaya, as much as he might be a great guy, still comes off as a not great character.
Larp
I don't think I can take anyone who places their ACOG back that far seriously...
Superior eye relief if you ditch the buis
Then you haven’t shot with an ACOG comfortably
I have A LWRC 8.5 AR, Suppresser yes or no??????
Depends on application bud
From the video bank .. bet they have a bunch to try to make up from his leave. This channel is going to have a big loss in views.
