If the dye transfers to the muslin, can you use it again to line another dye project? Or does that risk dye transfer from project 1 possibly transferring to the 2nd one?
You probably could wash it a couple times with detergent and be safe to reuse it, but in the costume shop we wash it and put it in the scrap muslin bin for pattern draping and mock-ups.
@@LaBricoleuse I thought that was the likely end result. But it would be an interesting dye experiment to see the changes in the muslin as dye does and does not transfer from different projects (but not enough to risk the projects).

As of 11/5/2023, Dharma Trading is no longer able to get neither of the 2 steamers; the stovetop nor the vertical electric steamer.
Well crap. At least they are not too difficult to make with sections of ductwork.
