Good afternoon question about connecting the Vipa PLC to the GA500 drive. There are, for example, 7 (in fact, 40 GA 500 drives are planned), and it will be necessary to connect the drives to the Vipa PLC via the Profibus network. The catalog states that one SI-P3 card can be used to connect 5 drives. Tell me, do we understand correctly that 40/5 = 8 Si-P3 boards are needed to connect 40 drives? and then how to properly configure the entire network in Step 7, if we have conditionally, 32 drives are not connected directly to the Profibus network?
