I had the same issue which is why I made printable tokens back in 9th. I then made order dice inspired by bolt action to help simplify the process.

Neat idea. Might just do something like this with some cardbord from a GW box and use them for heresy to remind me of the different effects in game

Great idea, I suppose you could use bases too, sanded down maybe best.
