I loved this video. It’s so realistic. I have a picky toddler too. A few things that have helped us is letting him dip foods into condiments. Even if it seems weird to us. Peas in ketchup , why not? Lol Eventually he eats them on their own. I let him sit at his kids size table and chairs for breakfast and lunch during the week. Unless it’s a family meal when my husband is home. I even sit on the floor at the kids table with him. Lol We also have an Aiibe Beyond Y Highchair. It sits him in a 90/90 position with his feet supported. It sits him right up to the table but the posture support helps him focus on the meal. It was recommended to us by a feeding therapist. Posture and comfort matter. Picture how you feel when you sit on a bar stool and your feet dangle. Eventually your feet feel restless, fall asleep , you cross them etc. That’s how small children feel sitting in an adult chair so it distracts them from the meal. Like you, we also limit snacks to two a day in between meals and then a treat after dinner if he ate good. The feeding therapist we know mentioned to us think of snacks as just a handful. Their tiny stomachs can’t handle a huge snack and still be hungry later. They don’t need a ton. This has really helped us keep him interested in meals but make sure he is still getting snacks to keep him going.
Love your videos! When my toddler doesn’t want to eat I make him a smoothie. Spinach, peanut butter, blueberries, strawberry banana and avocado 👍 He loves it!
Thank you for this video. I just came across your channel so just seeing this. May I ask what type of chair Elle is in? Just starting my LO on solids and we have carpet under our dining room table. I never considered setting her up on the kitchen counter. Seems like the chair cleans up easy.
My daughter likes the edamame and dumplings meal from Nurture Life also she likes to snack on fig bars, Made Good Chocolate Chip Granola Minis, apples and P.B, strawberries with yogurt and honey.
Thank you so much for sharing! I been doing BLW with my 7 month old & it’s been the best decision for us also. Love to watch you & your beautiful fam 💗
Loved this video, thanks Rylee. I’ve been having a hard time getting my 17 month old to eat her lunch or vegetables. It seems like the only thing she’ll have is deli turkey or Mac and cheese.
Who doesn't love chips! Hopefully Sissy continues her healthy eating. My husband's cousin would only eat french fries until he was in his 20's and I mean only french fries nothing else
I love that they like their waffles frozen lol My almost one year old only eats oatmeal if it’s cold and leftover from the fridge so it’s all lumpy and like glue. It seems unappetizing to me but he loves it! 🤷🏼♀️🤣 Love your videos!
i dont mean to be so off topic but does any of you know a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my account password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me
Elle naps for about an hour to hour and a half in the morning (9am), & an hour and a half to 2 hours in the afternoon (12:30/1ish). I do notice if I put her down for her naps too late & miss the "window" she is overtired and has a much harder time going to sleep. Maybe try putting your babe down right before you see signs of being tired? Hope this is helpful! It is so hard because all babies are different. You are doing a good job though mama!!
I liked this video a lot. I have an 18 month old and I also have to do whatever it takes to get him to eat. He will eat the most while he’s in the tub lol.
Our babies are close in age and I also do BLW my almost 3 yo won’t eat a cut banana either only the whole banana? And he refuses to nap and takes forever to fall asleep so I’ll try the vitamins!
Ok so my toddler likes his food frozen also... waffles, corn dog... I always thought it was odd but glad to see I’m not the only one with a frozen eater hahah
I follow kid.eat.in.color on Instagram and got some great meal and snack ideas. I’ve started doing snack plates with a veggie, dip (hummus or guacamole), fruit, a fat and a protein. Seems to be working well. She doesn’t always eat everything. I try to include safe foods and a new/unsure food. What helps me not to stress is too remember to look at a toddlers eating over the week, not just one day!!!!

Smoothies are the best for sneaking the good stuff in!
You seem like a really patient mom!
That meat masher kitchen tool is the best thing ever! I use it for a million things! When I have kids I’ll remember this tip 😉

You should do a updated hair-care one with some high end and some cheaper products!
Loved this video, thank you. My 2 year old loves all fruit, hummus, yogurt, Cheerios, teddy grahams, apple sauce, goldfish!♥️

@Liam Edison instablaster =)
They're so cute! It looks funny seeing two babies eat guacamole! :)
How long does your baby nap? I have a 7 month old and has struggled with his nap schedule. He puts up such a fight when I try to get him to sleep!

Hello Beautiful. The kids are getting. So big. Good job. Getting them too eat. Love your Indiana friend.;
Helpful video!!
The kids eat very good
My kids like apples and peanut butter :)
Would love to see a “what’s in my diaper bag” video for two kids, my boys are 20 months and six weeks.
The most frustrating part of parenthood is feeding toddlers. My 3 year old only goes for crunchy foods.
You are beautiful
