Nyx incredible power was entirely, in my opinion, due to a game design/informatic bug. First it was written nowhere that his pet could save him from overkills (the dagame exceeding pet life is completely cancelled when pet is destroyed), and that was already an insane power (they have added cosmic Freya exactly for that, her buff second attack was intended to kill Nyx). But the real bug was that the charge state was triggered before the pet was destroyed, so the damage reflection sometimes could be insane becase it was generated by a phantom damage.
More precisely: the damage destroying Nyx pet was included in the count of the damage received towards the computation of damage reflection but Nyx was not taking these damage because it was cancelled by his pet death. A behaviour quite unfair and completely not declared in the game effects descriptions.
Nyx has a lot of things going on, but due to how the devs respond to technical feedback like this, it seems they aren't high level enough to understand these small interactions that change the entire battle flow. There were similar complaints about phoenix, dettlaff, chaslon, etc. Ultimately, instead of fine tuning, they tend to just revamp things, for better or for worse - dettlaff got 2 updates within 2 months when he first came out, for example.
There is a link to a general wiki/guide in my discord, but until things settle down from this new update, a lot of old advice has been obsoleted and will need to be rediscovered over time

There's been 1 copy available in most events lately. I don't think he's been super hard to get, if you need him that badly you always have the option to choose him over red cans.

Still, when you need 18 copies, events that come every several weeks can hardly be called a sustainable way to obtain him. When op nyx came out they made him available almost every two months in keys and me. I wish they would go in the middle between the extreemes ha ha.
I think with minimal spending you reach elite chest in many events as well. It's not the best option, but for low spenders it's there if you're aiming for an artifact anyway
First he was impossible to take (I had your same problem) now instead you can directly access him al final meta heroes from the beginning, loosing all the progression that was characterizing the game. Tap tap heroes in becoming every time more narrow: the more heroes you can access the more you focus on meta hero. Who is going to pick Vivien from a chest where you can take Chaslon and Koshka?
Hi Akari, when aiming for a mythic skin, does the skins I sacrifice matter? I.e should I get multiple chaslon skins to then convert when I have enough, or does it not matter?

My chas isnt popping the team.. +3 attack rune, m3 axe, gen 2 for chas and my nyx is thr fastest attacking all - they just survive. Maybe i have wrokg traits selected?
At that point there's a lot of other factors. Are they faster, are you actually getting a kill, are they using cosmic phoenix or themis or leo, etc etc. You pretty much have to watch the battle and figure out if you're even getting fierce poison off
Not ideal, chaslon needs someone to get kills for him. It can work if you make it so that they fire back to back to force fierce poison on the team but that's tricky to do
im building my chas, hes lvl 180, 8* with red 2 gear (i really cant get gen 2) mythic attack rune and soul torrent with skin (non mythic), is he good and btw i just started building him
He's still good, but mythic skin and axe is where you start seeing some crazy (and reliable) results). Even at low level he's good if he's decked out with big rune and gen2 gear
yep im getting her to t5r but i know its a bad investment, and in end game her only use is moonlight trial when theres no skuld but theres koshka, so shes pretty trash for late/end game@@AkariPlaysGames

That's what the tier list is for. It wouldn't make sense to just make a top list anymore because heroes have such specific niches now

On the adventure how many days we should choose for the trip, I just started a 30 days trip bit not sure
14 day for non hh 9* fodder is generally the best reward, or 1 day if you just want exp and stuff

Mythic skin? Also if their chaslon is faster, you pop first (sometimes)

Both viv and valk aren't good at endgame, they get phased out quick. Viv will do fine early, but that's it
