I purchased this kit for my daughter's and I to work on together but the outer wood piece used was not offered, and unsure if that mold could even be used, which is sad, because I was looking forward to us creating gifts for family. What is it and how would i get my hands on a few?
@@mjs19x yep! And it does make a difference! One part is thicker than the other! So when measuring by weight, the thicker part will weigh more than the other part… it messes up the cure… if you get lucky, you might get it to cure but most likely, it won’t cure properly if you measure it out by weight instead of volume!
Hi, I just bought your coaster set that has square, round and hexagonal coasters (5x each shape) and a holder for each shape. Can you please tell me how much each coaster holds - is it different depending on the shape? Also how much the holder holds (haha!) as there is so much conflicting information online and it isn't written on the instructions leaflet or the item listing online. Please can you start to put this information in the leaflet or on the moulds themselves as trying to find out/measure yourself is a nightmare and epoxy is expensive! I am a disabled person who is unable to work so often my craft supplies take a long time to save up for and I can't afford to make mistakes as much as possible. My crafting, when I am well enough to do it, is something I use for my mental health, being stuck at home 24/7 is thoroughly depressing and my mental health can get really bad but creating something fun, useful and/or beautiful helps me feel like I have a purpose and keeps that black wolf at bay! 😊 It also helps with pain management and on the rare occasion that I manage to sell some of my art/crafts the extra money comes in handy for helping cover random costs and expenses that come from long-term illness/disability.
Beautiful, love the texture the cling wrap gave. Very cool 🤗🤗💙💙💙
Thank you!!

I'm new to resin art and I am making coasters for the first time. How long in between pouring the first layer do you pour the next layer?
About 7-8 hours.
Stunning! I just bought a kit with 3 different coaster styles and this is great inspiration. TFS💜🎨 New subbie from Michigan 👋🏼
Why did you use the cover for the square mold?
Love this thanks for sharing where can one get the file to cut the wood piece out please
I think it's available on Amazon😊
How does the circle and the rectangle holders hold of resin
Hi. How well do these hold up to hot mugs and don’t stick or leave impressions?
Isn't this resin by volume and not by weight? The gold leafing wasn't sealed so it will flake off and tarnish and a lot of sharp edges left.
Why do you measure this res8n by WEIGHT when the instructions clearly say to measure by ?volume?
Yes, I was literally watching it thinking the same thing, the instructions literally say by volume lol 😂

Also didn’t scrape sides of cup 🤔

do you have to seal the gold leaf at all to ensure it does not flake off?
We didn't seal the gold foil flakes as it is super lightweighted and a double-side tape is enough to stick it to the edge of the coaster
Awesome
Thank you.
where did you buy your scales from?
You could try to find this on Amazon-"tiny electric scale"😊
Very pretty but I could do without the gold
Done
Wowowowowow
Thank you.
Looks like a bag, and not water
this would have been better with a voice over instead of that stupid music, to explain what you are doing for beginners
You're watching our old videos published 1 year ago, and now we're using voice over, feel free to check our new videos🤗
