I love your beautiful idea my grandson has started back to school and I would love to make a gift 🎁 for his teachers thanks so very much have a good day and please be careful out there
I made 7 coasters I found that cork at Hobby Lobby with adhesive & used my circle die cut and it cut like butter...I like how the cork on the back gives it stability as well.
I added that last comment before I finished the video but I am sooooo writing that cup of positivity down and putting it on my bathroom mirror!!!! Thank you!
They turned out beautiful! I make mine a totally different way so that I can have a glitter background, but this is another great way of making these coasters 😍
Love 🥰🖍✏️📎I did these for my sister and her coworkers for end of the school year gifts and it was so much fun. Yours came out soooo adorable. Stay blessed 🙏🏽
Girl! Your voice is so cute. I’m from the south too (Alabama) and I much rather listen to people with southern accents! Lol this is so adorable and helpful. Thank!!
I just made these I love them, I’m obsessed!! One questing did I mix to much or not enough . I have lots of tiny tiny bubbles ? I used rubbing alcohol on the big ones .
Great video! I just started with epoxy recently. I make pen blanks and handles for bottle openers and bottle stoppers for wine. I wanted to try to make coasters, but I have a question. Are there any problems with the layers of epoxy separating? I never put new resin on top of hardened resin. Also, use a blow dryer to take out the little bubbles. It works. Thanks.
You must be in Ohio, this rain is crazy today! Lol Love these! I bought some from someone for my daughter's teachers a while ago before I started making stuff.
@@CourtneysCustoms thankfully where I'm at we only had small thunderstorms but I know some people ended up with no electric, crazy hail and trees down. Good thing you decided against epoxy yesterday
Hi! Thank you for this video! I am a teacher and I want to make these for my teacher friends. Can you tell me how many bottles of the KS Resin Liquid Art you used for these? If I get one package of the 4floz will that be enough to fill all 6 molds?
The suspense is real to know what type of epoxy resin you use. There are so many options on the site that you provided any details on which one to buy. A few comments mentioned it melted their crayons
I have a question on 1 video I believe u let the bottom coat dry before adding crayons etc then added second, another video you put them in with 1st coat, why and which is easier for a beginner? Also, do you torch the bubbles out before glitter and why not torch glitter
THANK YOU for an in depth how to do. I saw someone else make these and I was hooked. I work at a school and plan to make these as everyone's Christmas gifts this coming year (that's why I'm starting now). I appreciate your how to and the tips and tricks. Which epoxy from KS Resin did you use? I want to make sure I buy the right kind. I bought some from Michael's yesterday to try for my first time.
I just love these ! So cute! Can we talk about that green beaded pen you were writing with? Ha ha !! Where did you get all the cool beads and things for it? Maybe a cool tutorial on those? I already make beaded pens but yours was really cool!! 😎
HI! These are amazing! I tried following your tutorial using a quick coat epoxy and my crayons melted when the epoxy started to get hot. Any advice on how I can fix this so it doesn't happen again? Thanks so much!
Hi!! I’ve heard from a few people that you cannot use the fast set because it gets so extremely hot it’ll melt your crowns! I would just suggest sticking to regular epoxy for this
So coooolll!!! About to make these for the new members of my fourth grade team. But please answer this: how can Ms. Amanda be a teacher AND a school bus driver?! My mind is blown over here 🥴🤣
Lol!! It was for my daughters head-start class. It’s not technically “real” school. She drives the kids to class, stays there with them and helps as an aid. Then drives the kids home
Can you please share exactly which epoxy you use. Also the cake mold seem to have a curve in them after I pour them. I am brand new to all of this. Ty in advance
I honestly don’t know. I use the little plastic drinking cups from family dollar to mix a large amount like this. There’s no measuring lines to tell how much I used
Hey there, I followed all of your steps and used the same exact mold, sprayed the alcohol, and same epoxy…but when I pulled them out, the bottom was still sticky even the the tops were completely dry. I turned them upside down thinking they would dry, but it’s been three days and the bottom is still sticky. What am I doing wrong?
I love your beautiful idea my grandson has started back to school and I would love to make a gift 🎁 for his teachers thanks so very much have a good day and please be careful out there
Those are cute, I made my grandson keychains for his teachers.
Great idea ! Just a idea maybe add white to the bottom for those who would’nt want The Cork part to show
I love your nails. & your work! You're amazing! Teachers are awesome 👌
Thank you so much!
These coasters / paperweights are the cutest teacher gifts I have ever seen!!!
Court, you knocked them out of the park 👏👏👏 👍 💜💜💜
Aww thank you so much!💜
These are really great. I'm new to resin crafts & my son & I are going to try making similar ones for his 3 teachers 😀🤩
The rain is amazing

I love the coasters you created, those are beautiful and so unique! I know you must be a hit at your kid's school.
Thank you!

So cute and clever idea.

They turned out beautiful! I make mine a totally different way so that I can have a glitter background, but this is another great way of making these coasters 😍
A glittered background would be gorgeous too!!😍
Very cute idea. The cork background would look good with a beach theme too
Ooooo yes it would!
These are so adorable and perfect for teacher appreciation 🤍
Thank you 💜

Aww thanks Cami!! Love your face!!
Wow! Thankyou for this video. i was able to look in your links and purchase the correct mold
So cute❤!my teacher has one of these
Very helpful - thank you for taking time to show how easy this is. I dont feel intimidated anymore :0)
This is actually a really cool idea. I may make my wife and her co workers something like this! Good job :)
Coaster looks so thick, the cork is a good idea but it takes the prettiness from it when it was clear
i agree. If I don't use color. I'm gonna use the little clear silicone dots on the back
How long did you wait between each layer? Thanks!
When it’s completely hardened, I guess
Love this! Christmas gifts here I come!
Such a fun idea! Thanks, Courtney!
Awesome idea with the cork they came out awesome 🤩
Thank you!!
Thank you, have wanted to try these. Still building up courage.
Thank you! You can do it!!
Thanks for this video it helped a lot
Love this idea.
Thank you 💜
I just got these the other day---they come to the size of circles now same width as you mold!
love it tooo cute I would use a colored background on top of the cork then put the cork face down, so the table will not get wet.
those are super cute!! really good idea
Thank you 💜
I loved your channel you are amazing and so talented. Thanks for sharing all your art it really inspires others.🌼🌼🌼🌼👍👍

Soooo cute!! What a neat idea!!

@@CourtneysCustoms you’re welcome girlie
Just found this on teacher coasters. I love it. Which epoxy from the company do you use?
Right I wanna know too. So I can order it now
Just regular liquid art
I just made these I love them, I’m obsessed!!
One questing did I mix to much or not enough . I have lots of tiny tiny bubbles ? I used rubbing alcohol on the big ones .
Or does to much glitter cause the bubbles ?

Hi! There’s a medium Liquid Art, UV Liquid Art, and Thin Liquid Art..do you mind sharing which one? I love this and I’d like to try it ❤️
Loveee it .what epoxy do you use

They are pretty how much resin did you use?
I clicked the link for epoxy that you shared but there's so many which specific one did you use ??
Good idea!! Besides those frosted mugs you demonstrated I put that with it. Advertisement right?
Hi, just seeing your page. This is an AWESOME idea. Have you ever sold these? If so. How much would you sell each one for?
Do i have to use deep pour or can i use my regular epoxy ! I want to make some now for my grandsons end of the yr teachers gifts
You don’t have to use deep pour but it might be better for less bubbles
@@CourtneysCustoms Thankyou
Which KS Resin did you use; Best UV Resistance , Medium Thickness Coating or Liquidy Split Ultra?
Thanks for your help
Liquid Art
Hi so the layers become solidified? I was wondering how the would stick together an no heat gun used
Adorable!!!!! Do you do anything with the top outer edge after demolding, like sanding the edges?
I did it sooooooo lightly!
Hiiii. Which grit do you use to sand? Medium, coarse, fine or superfine?

I use KS Resin Liquid Art. And I never had that issue. Make sure you lay them on a perfectly level surface 💜
hello again!!! The cork I have is not self sticking, can I use modge podge to stick on coasters or what do you suggest?
Hi!! I would use something super secure like Liquid Fusion
Can you use clear glue then let it dry?
I have those same molds.
I read all of the comments so that I wouldn’t repeat a question. How much resin did you mix?
I honestly don’t know. I use the little plastic drinking cups from family dollar to mix a large amount like this. There’s no measuring lines to tell how much I used
@@CourtneysCustoms Okay. I can’t wait to try it!
do you use a mold release before putting anything in the mold?
Nope!
Hi Courtney. I made the coasters but I have a bit of lip on the top around the coaster did you sand them at all?
Hi! Light sanding should be okay
Do the cake molds hold up well with the epoxy, any issues?
Yes they do! No issues at all
Hi Courtney what resin are you using? Food safe or not is what I an using
KS Resin Liquid Art
@@CourtneysCustoms thank you my friend
What are the sizes of the names? I got everything. What did you take to remove the paper off the name? Thanks

Does the epoxy need to be mixed with hardener?
How long does the epoxy take to dry?
What size is the coaster mold? Do you have the link by any chance
Which resin do you use?
To cute
Thank you!
Hi question, I just purchased my resin online, and I want to make sure that with resin... Is it safe to work with or does one need to wear mask?
You need a mask and gloves
How long does it take the bottom layer to dry
