OMG I've seen this on television before but I was only three back then...!!!! D: Oh the nostalgy and the childhood memories. They burn my heart so badly.
There was only one american accent in the show, and that was Whoopi Goldberg. The company that made this show is based in Manchester, England. The episodes were animated in Spain.
"You don't know your left from your right, do you Todd?" "...No, but I don't get up and down confused anymore." "Well, I have a NEW direction for you to learn.....OUT!"
I don't understand why this cartoon never aired Stateside. After all, Whoopi Goldberg provided one of the voices. The voices of the other characters do not have a British accent so heavy that most Americans will wonder what they are saying. Nothing personal, but few Americans have the patience trying to understand someone speaking English with a foreign accent. I remember a mid-sixties cartoon based upon the Beatles. The producers substituted American actors for the speaking roles of the Fab Four. They were concerned that most Americans would not be able to understand the Beatles' Liverpool accents. Then there was an American late-eighties adaptation of Paddington Bear. English actor Tim Curry played grumpy Mr. Curry. All of the other characters were played by American actors, including Charlie Adler as Paddington.
@bushbabies94 Yes, that will be Rob Rackstraw I think. He did do some voices in The Foxbusters, not sure if he did voice that fox in question though because I can also imagine Jimmy Hibbert doing that character's voice too.
It was aired in the UK, Spain, Portugal, German-speaking countries, Arabic countries, Italy, Finland, Lithuania (narrator only), Serbia and probably Hungary, too. Currently, it is aired in India under the name "Kullanari Koottam". I can say for sure that the cartoon was never aired in Poland, Czech Republic and Russia.
After seeing this episode, Todd X Jeffries is my Foxbusters OTP. I know one is a fox and one is a chicken but I don't care. I ship the daylights outta them and they were SO meant for each other!
Todd failed and those foxes kicked poor old Todd in the butt for that. Now Todd is flying. And Voracious was evil on Todd and had attempted to make Todd fail and get humiliated and it backfired and the chicken saved Todd. Todd is a kind-hearted fox.
1:44 He asked to be in another cartoon and he chose that 1992 Disney film Aladdin. 4:00 King Voracious reminds me by voice and nasty nature of the tiger Shere Khan. I love a happy ending for Todd.
First time watching this show and I think this Todd character is absolutely ADORABLE. I'm pretty positive I found my favorite character.
I know this is off topic, but I'm guessing your avatar is from the Housepets comic. It's a pretty good comic in my opinion.
It's a shame this show never aired in the US. I bet people would've liked it.
Might've lasted longer
I would have watched the heck out of it :')
It's British and ran from 1999 to 2000, winning a British Animation Award and a BAFTA. Not bad for an overlooked animated TV series!
I've never seen this cartoon before. This is great! It appeals to both my love of foxes and my love of flying. I'll have to watch more episodes. :D
00Skyfox Foxes are awesome!
@Capri Idk about chicken ducks and geese are part cats when they hiss 😶
I love foxes too
It was aired in Spain and a few other countries too.

Yeah. Since Whoopi was in it.
OMG I've seen this on television before but I was only three back then...!!!!

"How very inconvenient." Lol!
That's so awesome, and I love their accents. X3

There used to be an unofficial site that was run by a friend of mine, but it has been long gone.
I felt so bad for Todd

@bushbabies94 Yes, that will be Rob Rackstraw I think. He did do some voices in The Foxbusters, not sure if he did voice that fox in question though because I can also imagine Jimmy Hibbert doing that character's voice too.

7:18 - 7:51
I ship it!
@KeenyFox Atuchly it's both.. A group of foxes is a "skulk", "troop" or "earth".
Todd is such a cute fox and he’s my favourite character in foxbusters
I'm hooked. 😃
Whoopi Goldberg playing a brown chicken
Tod (Todd, Todde) means fox in old English. That's why its popular as a name for male fox characters.
That is because it didn't air in the US.
@vinceraptor You'll enjoy most of the other episodes too I hope ;)
That's probably because kids were watching Pokemon instead back then. The show's writer Alan Gilbey made a joke about that anyway ^^
@MarioTanooki23 No, I had no involvement in making this show. And of course, my name isn't in the credits =P
*Looks down at the description* JESUS CHRIST THIS IS OLD

Ya know, this was the first episode of Foxbusters I ever seen, and I once thought it was a fan animation XD
After seeing this episode, Todd X Jeffries is my Foxbusters OTP. I know one is a fox and one is a chicken but I don't care. I ship the daylights outta them and they were SO meant for each other!
Now I KNOW you are just tossing my melon =P

Hecc Todd is a really cute character 😄

Cute Cartoon :)
Either it is Jimmy Hibbert or Rob Rackstraw.
Todd failed and those foxes kicked poor old Todd in the butt for that. Now Todd is flying. And Voracious was evil on Todd and had attempted to make Todd fail and get humiliated and it backfired and the chicken saved Todd. Todd is a kind-hearted fox.
This show is so silly! 😂😂😂
I like this
You find out something new everyday.
Do my ears here Mike O' Donnell and Junior Campbell's music?
Nope, it was composed by Keith Hopwood and Phil Bush
@@FreyFox87 ah, well that makes sense
It never aired in the USA.
bigoldinosaur some of the voice actors were from Danger Mouse.
I did not realise they'd animated this story!
That doesn't always mean it's not made in the US. Some US shows can have characters with different accents.
I like the helicopter sounds the flying chicken made
scouse foxes!!!! :')
@KeenyFox Oh yeah... There also called a troop and a earth.
It's British yeah.
That is so cute
1:44 He asked to be in another cartoon and he chose that 1992 Disney film Aladdin. 4:00 King Voracious reminds me by voice and nasty nature of the tiger Shere Khan. I love a happy ending for Todd.

That male fox's voice sounds very familiar. Anyone know who it is?
This show is British!
i love foxes
1:02 Janja's New Crew In A Nutshell
Because it is set in England?
Is Tod's voice actor the voice of Corneil from Corneil & Bernie / Watch My Chops?
Or Tiger from Kipper?
None of the above!
Coulda fooled me 😂
@MAnnaconduit1 Isnt jimmy hibbert also a rock singer
Wow a fox on a hang glider I have seen everything! Why don't they make more cartoons like this?
Did they get to slay the chicken in the final episode?
@CyberTiger000 I don't get it
@shizlnit Lol, all that is missing is the long hair!
Keeny, not Kenny ;)
@yoshibug100 But don't forget these aren't ordinary chickens =P
@thevalin13 An 'earth' is another name for a fox's den
Wow that was in 2008 :o
