This is a great tutorial. Thanks for taking the time to put it all together. Video looks easy, but it’s a lot of work to shoot and edit. Thanks again for the considerable effort you clearly put into this video.
Good idea welding the two halves together rather than forge welding. I tend to do that when making tongs. Will give that a try next time I make pokers. 👍
Lovely video, great editing and flow, awesome dragon! If I may give a humble suggestion, lately I've been doing my dragon head pupils with a straight chisel, this achieves a very reptilian look and is easy to get straight. Just a thought & only if it suits your style. Keep it up!
@@oscarduck1920 Looking forward for youre results, hope you'le share. I demonstrate this in a video I made for our students stuck at home during lockdown if youre interested th-cam.com/video/0G_vwcPdxaU/w-d-xo.html . very rough and uneddited so if you cant bare it, i do the eyes at 8 minutes
Amazing tried to makes one just from pictures. Had 3 or 4 attempts now. Going to try this next and hopefully able to change it slightly. But that looked so easy and non complex
I been trying to do it by forge welding it, but it is hard to get a weld heat on a wood fired forge, without getting scales Thanks a lot for the idea mate. New sub!
Great job! I’ve just tried to use your methods with some 12mm square section, think it was overkill and became rather hard to do! What size stock are you starting with here? Cheers 👍🏼

I was just looking into ways to forge dragon heads. Your timing is impeccable.
