The feels man, Shane’s character was so good you’d wish he’d survive all the seasons and wished him and Ricks friendship was restored.
In season 2 I tought Shane was simply stupid. Around season 5 I realised he was the smartest man in that group. He just realized how the world worked before anyone else.. And that got him killed
Yeah he did realize how the new world worked, but his mistake that got him killed was going after someone else's wife. That was stupid.
Wrong. I was on Shanes side for almost everything he did except for one thing and that one thing got him killed, trying to kill his best friend.
Yes he wasn't wrong but he started too early. He did not have mercy in him. Rick is a strong man he hadn't adapted what happened to the world he was in the hospital. But the difference is he went through 9 seasons of hell he lost people he loved. He had to become the man he became. He changed but Shane was already the way he was

He got killed because he wanted his best friends family. Literally had nothing to do with his survival instincts.

shane was right, he got it from the very beginning. at the end of the day, rick turned into what shane told him he would have to.
"even if it's yours, it's not gonna be yours" - dealing with the apocalypse and the woman you love telling you shit like that, no wonder he lost it eventually.
he wasn't the bad guy, just the only one willing to make the tough calls. really wish he hadn't died, and we got to see him repair his relationship with rick. they would have made a hell of a trio with daryl.

I wonder how the show would've played out if Rick wasn't shot in first season, and experiences the outbreak, apocalypse and chaos and what if he didn't shot Shane in the ending of second season. Man, that's all im wishing for right now. To see them drop their guns each and just hug and return back to the farm alive and well. And the farm wouldn't even be overrun by walkers. Я не любила Шейна и их дружба с такими поступками давно канула в лету...но...меня от просмотра сериала так не пробирало от них даже близко, как пробрало от твоего видео. Браво!
А я очень прониклась их отношениями, это дружба на грани. Когда первый раз смотрела, Шейн прям не нравился, но при пересмотре я влюбилась в этого персонажа, хоть у него и снесло крышу, но он был интересным и колоритным для меня))

I think in the end Shane was better than Rick. They both did terrible things but it clearly weighed on Shane more, till he was driven mad. In the current seasons it feels like Rick relishes the things he does, like he's justified it all in his head and that makes it ok. I guess what I' saying is Shane despite what he seemed, had a better conscience than Rick.
I think Rick and Shane are the same. Simply, Shane quickly understood the meaning of survival. And his love for Lori killed him.
Daniel Henry Shane tried to rape Lori but its ok ? why is everyone forget this ? Shane is a good character but its a shitty friend and a shitty influence to Carl

I kinda feel for Shane. Yeah, it was messed up to bang Ricks wife. But technically he didn't know that Rick was alive either. In the end I think Shane wanted Lori and Carl because he was scared, and they kept him brave. He probably felt like if he lost them as his reason to survive, he'd go insane.
