    Tell me why I cut my hair short and then a week later you cut your hair and did your big chop. I was so happy and was like yay I get to do this big shop journey with one of my TH-camrs that I watch! And girl tell me why maybe a month later I chopped it shorter to a pixie cut. I was like I’m doing this journey by myself 🤣🤣but you’re growth is amazing it grew so much! I love it! ❤️

    Definitely have seen 2-3 inches of hair growth with consistent twist outs…great point! I like the idea of saturating with rose water or different type hydrator other than plain water. This time around I am taking my natural hair journey more serious-this type of content is very helpful! Thank you!

      More to come! My water hydrator will be for sale soon. I’m thinking once the summer comes I will do more wash and go’s to combat the heat and humidity, but I live me a twist out in the heat too lol

      I’ve been using aloe vera water (Walmart) and it has saved me from heartache, and my hair from excessive breaking during detangling. I use the misting bottle (Amazon) and saturate my hair before parting and combing through. One will not believe how miraculous it is until it’s tried and proved! I wish I’d known years ago!

    Definitely agree with you on twist outs to retain length. I learned the hard way. I love wash n go but everytime it comes to wash day I have terrible tangles and my hair snaps. I will still do wash n gos but I will only keep it for about 3 days and then wash it out and I would only do it maybe once every month

    • @apara2005
      @apara2005 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yeah. That's the secret with wash and go's no one told us... they have to be re-done every 3 days or your hair will break!!!! If you want them to last a week or more without issues, you have to shingle/ separate your coils (which, for me, takes 3hrs 😭 - so i do every 3 day wash n go's😂).

    • @user-fc2xk3uv8y
      @user-fc2xk3uv8y 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      idk how ppl keep a wash and go in more than like 4 days ngl. like do they just let it tangle up to the max before washing?

    I use to do twist out a lot on my hair but now I braid my hair for length retention and it stretches the hair, at least mine, more than the twist. I have not used heat of any kind on my hair for over ten years, I also use most of the oils you stated and I mist my hair DAILY with Aleo Vera juice, almond oil, and peppermint love and my hair loves it and I agree with you, I am not big on trimming my hair, especially if there is no need to. I watch for split ends and knots and if I am fine, I do not touch my hair.

I use a protein treatment every 6 weeks...use a mild one ever 6, then this one the next 6 weeks, then the mild one the next 6...and so on.....when I'm good, of course. Sometimes I fall off the protein train 😂. I've been very bad lately due to illness and my hair is paying for it!
