This is the beauty of Android. We no need to wait for 4 years living with that notch on an IOS to get a feature. When Androids has simple punch holes since long back Apple users lived with notches. Now this dynamic island too is not as clean and less distracting as a simple punch hole on Androids.

I think once under display camera is the norm, Android could use similar dynamic island features at any location on screen. Right now, the feature is intentionally created to camouflage the camera cutout.
Why people want dynamic island it make it more uglier because instead of you having one small black spot now you got one big black thingy. I saw my friend play a game and that dynamic island its give disadvantage to him because it not blend in with the background.

This is the customization advantage of android over iOS. If Apple is not careful, people will make a better dynamic island than they made even though they started it.

I love to that when Android smartphone manufacturers launche a new feature it's just called a gimmick. But when Apple launches that same feature with a bit of tweaking it's called revolutionary.

And because it is not natively built in the phone's software from samsung/android softwere, the third party apps he is installing could potentially result in privacy compromisation. So, basically android developers need Apple to innovate something that they can copy with a slew of tweaks here and there... Should, I applaud their productivity that made the so call redundant cutouts on Android so functional after iPhone launch or I criticize Android to imitate everything that Apple does ranging from notch to removing chargers to inflated prices of their flagships and now dynamic island...
Our wanting it so bad is a proof itself that how much we envy Apple....
Tbh tho they are literally partners and samsung gave apple there best screen for the iPhone 14 and also to mention there are alot of things iphone has taken from android so tbh its not really that deep

The difference is on iPhone it’s going to be integrated into system, notifications and applications. In Android, at least this thing you present is just a low quality hack with issues like cut text on 1:34 and its not even centered. It’s not hard at all to just add a black spot on the screen
