  • Surrounded by forest, this Kumoi-no-taki Falls is 20 metres long and has three tiers from its precipice. It is one of the most beautiful waterfalls along the Oirase Gorge of Tohoku Nature Trail at the Aomori Prefecture. The Oirase Gorge has an enchanting atmosphere with many waterfalls and thick woods. The Oirase Stream flows from Lake Towada, with a total length of about 14 kilometers. The water flow is extremely variable. The virgin forests of cypress, beech, and maple trees are scattered along the shore. Together with Lake Towada, it is designated as a special scenic spot and a natural monument in Aomori Prefecture. Take a stroll along the stream and enjoy the natural beauty around you. There are lush trees, splashes of water, and rocks tangled in moss and vines floating on the water, and the scenery is beautiful. The large and small waterfalls along the Oirase Stream are worth seeing. This gorgeous waterfall was taken on 24 April 2024.
