  • At the global peace summit in Switzerland on June, nations backed three key points: nuclear energy security, food security, and the exchange of prisoners of war and deported children. These discussions will shape the second Peace Summit planned for later this year. Despite Russia's refusal to participate, Ukraine remains committed to negotiations under international law. The US supports Ukraine's right to define its terms with Russia. Join us as we delve into the summit's outcomes and Ukraine's plans to end the war by year's end.

The "high income", as you said, comes from the gross national income per capita, so I guess you assume every Russian profits from the war one way or another or the average earnings from someone in the military are so high that it raises the average of the nation (which is pretty interesting nonetheless- isn't their economy supposed to be crumbling?). You're right about their economy being bound to bounce at somepoint after the status of war economy ends, however I think we can agree about them doing ridiculously well for a nation with close to 20k economic sanctions at this point.

Let's put it this way- Assume you have a neighbor that is very close to you- you're friends and even do business together, usually with your money but since you both profit, it's fine. No friendship is perfect and you clash with each other from time to time, however your mutual benefit keeps you together time and again. However, at some point someone else becomes friends with your neighbor and convince them that you're terrible. Hey, everyone can be friends with whoever they want, problem is, your neighbor doesn't want to talk to you anymore and wants to keep all the business you were doing to gether for themselves- or more specifically, for the new friends they found, who convince them to be their new business partner. And as you're trying to figure out how to fix this, you find one morning that a bunch of guard dogs are chained outside of your neighbor's house, just by your door, provided by their new friends.
By the way, do you know who owns most of Ukraine's farmland and mines?

Ukraine is running out of options. They are not really in a position to propose anything, rather just to accept whatever terms Russia gives them. If the text messages to Trump jr are true, it means even Zelenskyy thinks it.

@@Travis26XI recommend reading into the proceedings of the international court in regards to the war of Ukraine. It lists committed war crimes. Russia has been proven to double tap civilian infrastructure (striking once to destroy it and striking a second time 20 minutes later to hit firefighters and personal that deals with recovery), Russias soldiers have been proven to be pillaging through Ukrainian towns and there’s several cases of Russia mass bombing areas with no regards for civilian lives.
