Leslie Castle: about 25 yrs ago the then owners, Leslie and Lesley Leslie, held a gathering to which Leslies came from far afield. The day of their arrival was glorious: cloudless blue sky, the white castle, the green sward on which it sits and Leslie and Lesley had asked Grampian Police Pipe Band to greet their guests. The pipers were dressed in full regalia. It was like a painting of everyone's romantic idea of Scotland and many of the Leslies were moved to tears. I think that they had a tremendous weekend visiting the sites associated with Clan Leslie and staying in the castle.

Craigievar Castle is my favourite castle ever. Visted there for my channel back in 2013 and I will be visiting again next month. I work in a few castles in England for English Heritage, but Scotish castles just seem to have the edge for me!

Love seeing all the castles of old. One criticism though. During the video I was left wondering which transition was coming next. I ended up paying more attention to those effects than anything else.
