Anyone else been there as a dungeon master? Tried to introduce a boss early on in a campaign (for story arc) and despite my many not-so-subtle hints, one of my members convinced the crew to attack in a blaze of glory. Let’s just say it was a short campaign.
@JonPumper, totally respect the concept and the video is amazing! However... Let's see what "Arcana Montana" can do, in one combat without rest: - Cure Wounds, 1st level - Meteor Swarm, 9th level - Fireball, 3rd level - Command, 1st level - Wall of Stone (or Sand), 5th level - Animate Dead, 3rd level - Bigby's Hand, 5th level Therefore, Arcana Montana MUST be at least a 17th level Sorcerer / 2nd level Paladin! Assuming the other party members are equivalents, they should wipe the floor with a purple worm! Also, we noticed the DM CHEATING by marking down the worm one point for each attack! Still, great video, and a new favorite karaoke choice!
Mad respect for the deep dive analysis on this. I knew I was wading into some technical problems with my rhyming choices haha. Appreciate the civility and suspension of disbelief!
@@JonPumper Hi, only saw this video yesterday and loved it. I know its far too late now, but the above problem could have been solved by amending the Lyrics to "Cast a Scroll of Meteor Shower". This would mean the Arcana Montana would have been a 10th level Sorceror/2nd level Paladin or so. Still probably capable of taking down a Purple Worm though, so maybe could have changed the lyrics to used scolls of Wall of Stone and Bigbys Hand also 😛. That would mean that Arcana Montana would only have to be around about 6th level Sorcerer/2nd level Paladin. Sorry, but the OCD Autistic nerd in me couldn't let it go without commenting this despite knowing how pointless it is 😛.
Fairly certain I subscribed for piano covers. I'm curious what gets you the most views or gains you the most subscribers. This sort of parody doesn't appeal to me at all.
Jon doesn't just do covers, though they're what he does a lot of. Jon has made content like this for a long time, it's a great creative outlet for him and mixes things up to keep them interesting for him :) I'm glad there are plenty of covers for you to enjoy, regardless!
