Great advice…… my daughter works pretty hard outside of practice because she loves the feeling of getting a hit in a game and being on base. What a difference a year makes.
Have you covered 'training the eye'? I was talking to a few players on my son's team who never go over 40 mph at the batting cages. I shoved my boy in at 80mph to train his eye and he makes contact a lot more than the other kids. All the parents seem to think I'm crazy putting him in at 80, but they won't connect the dots to how often he hits.
