It's been getting down in the negative numbers here in PA. Brrrrrrrrr... We did get snow last weekend. It started as really nice, fluffy snow, which ended in sleet. So, it got a nice shiny crust on the top. I like having some snow, but this was not a fun snow. Made things really slippery and then, it's just frigid with that northern air pushing down moist Arctic air over the Great Lakes and onto us.
Such cute things out of the Tim Holtz packaging. I like the notepad idea, too. Well, hope you are having a relaxing Sunday.

I've been saving some packaging from brads for a few years. I took the brads out of the packaging and put them in plastic organizers, and it took up only a little bit of space and so easy to see everything. , plus I got cute 1.5" x 2" backing for another purpose. Until now, I wasn't sure what purpose that was!
Now I'll make some tags with them, or tiny journaling cards.

My nephew gave me a generous gift card to Hobby Lobby for Christmas. The next time Tim Holtz projects are on sale, I just may have a shop---not for products but for the packaging. These ephemera ideas are great!
I went to Hobby Lobby today and Tim Holtz was on sale 40% off, I guess it’s too late now though because if it was on sale it won’t be next week I don’t think.

I save all of my TH packaging too. I just made some little notebooks from the ones that have the flap. They're so handy to have on hand already made. And...it's fun to make them cause I use up my small scraps collaging on them and collage is one my favorite things to do!

Thanks for another wonderful Scrappy Saturday. Those tags are adorable! I need to sort through my scraps and make some of those little notepads and have ready to tuck in for a little gift in birthday cards for friends. Our "C" numbers are up in our school too. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who saves those cards, thinking they'll make great journal tags. What a wonderful idea. I was stumped on how to get mine punched out, thinking about cutting it then filing with an emery board but your solution is much better!

I collected Tim packaging until I moved and had to declutter, so out they went…to the recycle. I have now started saving again, but vow to use them this time. Did you have to fussy cut those frames? And what printer do you have as your sheets are very clear and true to colour. Love your work!

I’m just curious, do you plan things before you start the video, i. e. Did you think ahead about the paper, frame, animal would all go on there before you even started auditioning? You are very talented, but of course, how many years have you been doing this type craft? You make everything look so easy to pull together and end up with a fantastic piece 👏🏻
If I’m doing a specific project, I try to have all the supplies at hand (I don’t always remember everything or have another idea, so need to jump up! 🥴). But as far as decorating pieces, you are literally crafting with me, I’m thinking of what to put where and putting together on camera. I’ve been crafting my whole life. But doing mixed media art for about 12 years and journal making the last six years. I will have been making TH-cam videos for six years this coming June. I love it all!!
