cus honestly boyxboy relationship normally start from friendship (especially before lgbt become official) and takes longer time and a lot of effort and courage to realize and acknowledge the feeling, due to the society we grow up in, while boyxgirl is more easier to achieve cus its 'normal'. Thats why i find the relationship between boyxboy or girlxgirl really sweet and amazing. Cus they dare to love each other despite everyone against it.

I love it when Wei Ying says "Lan Zhan". It's like he's saying, "Honey or My Love," and when Lan Zhan says "Wei Ying," it's like he's saying "Honey, Sweetheart, or My Love."
The romance between Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian was subtle and brewing for such a long time that it's difficult to pinpoint when exactly they fell in love with each other.
All I can say is that Lan Wangji fell for Wei Wuxian first, in their youths and the dense Wei Wuxian probably like him in some sense that he always find the time to tease the stoic man. There was even a scene from the novel where they were hiding amongst the hay from the home owners, body pitting against each other, and they heard the home owners discussed about their son, how he bullies his friend because he likes him. Oh how Wei Wuxian blushed at that XD

I love their love story. In the novel, anime, and drama. It's so beautiful and romantic. The drama didn't have to show all the sexual and passionate scenes for you to see how much Lan Zhan & Wei Ying love each other. You can see it in their eyes and their actions. I love them! They're my favorite couple!😍💕❤💋

This is a perfectly concise story-telling of their relationship from beginning to end. It's really hard to move on from them because as someone who usually isn't into 'romance' per se, I'm addicted to their love for/devotion to each other. We should all be so lucky as to find our soulmate.

Stormy77 they also say “soulmate” in episode 43, it hit the hardest to me there. Watch on Viki, they have the best subs, either the website or the app. The TH-cam ones suck, and Netflix ones are kinda basic, Viki is a site specifically for asian dramas so the subs team there are better! They only missed in ep25 cause instead of soulmate they translated to something else too but in general they do got the best subs.

This drama makes it so interesting is WeiYing’s humor, brighten people’s day, and never get bore. No wonder most of the people were so jealous of him n anyway to have him kill. WeiYing is someone likes to help other n he always put himself last. 😃😃😃
Since the series ended, I am back to re-reading the novel. I feel sad because in the series he said his regret was not standing next to WY, but in the novel, he did more than that. Going against his uncle, brother, elders, beating them up, saving WY, confessing (well, not as "cool" as WY's though) and all.....If you love LZ in this, you will love him 100x more in the novel. The bond/love of this author is so damn long/strong/emotional. The 2nd brother is 13/16 years, the third one is 800 years.....I am waiting for the series to come out first....best for my weak heart.
Kudos to the all casts and staffs of The Untamed. . .they really did well. . .this is my first time to watched a bl novel turned into live drama series and I don't have regrets. . .everything is beautiful. . . I can't even stop rewatching the whole series. . .
And this is by far the best. I've watched many BL (adapted or not) and unfortunetly, the level is quite different. I hope China will continue to produce that kind of BL (/bromance) of that quality.

whoever thinks they didn't end up together just think about what wei ying asked lan zhan at their parting moment he said "next time we meet, think of a name for this song" and lan zhan is like "ive already thought about it" and what is the name of the song??? "WangXian" so when they meet again that means he'll have to tell wei ying the name and ofc wei ying will understand lan zhan's feelings for him so that means when they meet again they're together romantically and since the drama cant show that bc of censorship they had to end it just there.

In a sense, I'm grateful for the censorship because Wangxian really didn't need kisses or huge romantic gestures in order to showcase their love. Your MV perfectly captures their devotion and trust in each other. Their love was shown through their actions towards one another, which I think made it even more romantic than intended. In any case, their strong bond to each other started off as companions and then became soulmates. At the heart of their love, THAT is why they work so well together. Xiao Zhan who studied Design & not Drama can act so well in a script that has so many speaking parts & fight scenes, shows he is multitalented. Yibo is the the best Lan Zhan, warm inside & cool outside. He fights & fly beautifully. Great wire work stuns. Wish to see more their adventures.

I seldom/rarely watch dramas like c-dramas esp fantasy or historical moreover a BL, but Guardian & The Untamed made me addicted that even their fmvs hadn't escape from my watch list. Both novels too got me repeatedly reads it to the point that i most probably memorize every part of each chapters. kkkkk Also the depths of love, devotion, passion of both couples is unbelievably beautiful & the 4 actors really like they perfectly came out from the novel.

This series has really taken my emotions on a roller coaster ride.. I love everything about it... How can one series tick every box i like... The way they say each others name is like a caress.. In company they dont even know that they almost always stand next to each other.. Its like second nature to them... Aaaagh damn im so inlove with their love...
This drama is amazing even has lot of ups n downs of conflicts. At the end both guys end up together n LanZhan did not let of his hands to WeiYing. That’s a big yes n LanZhan never look up another guy nor lady from beginning til the end. It shows how much LanZhan is very in love with WeiYing when they first met but in reality it seems impossible to find love in this way. Maybe 10 out of 1 someone truly can find real love cuz there’s lot break-ups, realtionship did not last long, cheatings n both females/males never satisfy what they have. Seeing this drama hopefully teach people how to appreciate their love n always be faithful to yourself n live an honest life. Human can only live once n why not live the fullerest.
