@@michaelmell2110 i've read the extra chapters and no way they getting thous animated, no chance lol! it IS worth reading the novel thou, if you think the donghua ripped out your heart and stomped on it, the book will destroy you and your soul, do not pass the burial mounds, do not collect your lost ghost general. its absolutely heart wrenching but oh so beautiful. ALSO theirs now going to be an official English book translation now :)

Onestly, I've known this story for something like a year and a half and I still can't get over these two. The drama made fall in love, the novel destroyed me (and yeah considering I reread it at least once a month I might be considered a bit of a masochist but NOT THAT MUCH), the audio drama made me dream, the manhua is still ongoing but still so good and two days ago, while I was watching this episode, I burst into tears like the first time I saw them happy and together. I owe so much to all the characters and this story will always be a part of me.

Perfect song for them. I want to cry for Lan zhan, He waited for 13 years, play Guqin to call Wei ying's soul to comeback and teach his adopted son to play guqin too so if sizhui remember everything he can help his Dad to call his other dad's soul to comeback for them. This is my most favorite Donghua/anime. Mo dao zu shi is 💖💖💖
The wait is over for Lan zhan. Wei ying is back! Thanks to Nie Huasiang he influenced Mo xuanyu to sacrifice his body for Wei ying even if it is by force. There is a happy ending for both of them that Wei ying and Lan zhan really deserve.
These two are the only ones i have trouble rewatching as it’s a hellscape of heartbreak and sadness for so much of the story, but I love them.

Lan Zhan has been waiting a long time for Wei Wuxian to come back, I only realized this just yesterday after watching the series and the live action series as well as the manhua, after Wei Wuxian reawakens in another person's body (who looks exactly like him) and a few episodes/chapters after it starts telling a completely different story to what it showed in the beginning was because the author and director were trying to show the audience the past of Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan. I'm such an idiot for only realizing this just yesterday when I started watching/reading this series a couple of years ago, I can't believe how slow I am sometimes🤦🤦😑.
Mo xuanyu does not look like wei wuxian
@@solankisnehahaha Oh, sorry about that, I didn't realize that they didn't look the same because all I saw was Wei Wuxian's appearance when watching the anime and then a bunch of people calling him Mo Xuanyu.

I read the novel, saw the live action, and am reading the manhua. The cartoon didn't really call to me, but I will say that the tale of Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji is the most heartfelt love story I have ever read.

Every time I see videos like this, I feel like reading the novel again. But then I remember how sad it is and I dont think my heart can take another round. So many good people dying.. the fact Wei Wuxian never got the chance to become closer to his brother again.. ai 😭😭😭 The only hapiness is the couple's ending tbh. Even the Xue Yang arc, which is supposed to be the villan and we should be happy when he's fucked.. bro I cried my heart out. This novel is beautifully depressing.

Such a nice video, their love is really something. Wangji is always ready to wait for his husband. I just wish you haven't sped the last clips, this song is slow paced and when you sped them up it just didn't fit. I know you wanted to include as many scenes as possible but it's a bit chaotic.
