- This is a video of Loughrigg Fell & Rydal Caves. A great and simple walk to do. Caves are perfect for the family and Loughrigg fell is the 4th smallest wainwright so could also be a good walk for the family
Very detailed and descriptive route and two places I have never been, always leaving them for another day, less busy day but as the Lakes seems to be getting busier, I better get them done, cheers Alan
Get them done mate. It’s a great day out
Very detailed video, it would certainly help those who aren’t confident with a map or first time hikers. We haven’t done loughrigg yet, it will be a great winter walk. We tend to hike the high fells throughout the spring & summer
Thank you for your kind words mate.
@@RamblingWithRitchie no worries, since writing that comment, we did Loughrigg fell. I’ve attached the link here: th-cam.com/video/NrvvyIEflZ8/w-d-xo.html
@@hikingwiththeshackletons I’ve give you a subscribe. 👌🏻
@@RamblingWithRitchie aww thanks buddy, I’ll do the same 😊
thanks for that video im going next month, how long did it take?
Hey mate. From where I went and the way I did I went to the caves and spent time in there and was up and down in 2hrs tops
@@RamblingWithRitchie sounds great 2hrs but i will park at the bottom just not in white moss car park heard a few bad things about that car park.
@@craigwilson1604 yeah mate. Park where I parked. Pelter bridge.
Many thanks for this, very much appreciated. We’re going to be walking this route in the next few weeks. How many miles did you do? Best wishes
Hi John. It’s really not far if you do this route. Was like 7km when I did it but faffed about looking for other caves
Call it approx 4.5 miles
Thanks so much, very much appreciated. Watched this 3 times with different people 👍
@@johnrowley4993 brill. Hope you enjoy. When you doing it?
@@RamblingWithRitchie Hi Ritchie thanks so much for your help. We’re doing the walk this coming Saturday 😊👍
Thanks once again Ritchie, we did this yesterday, the 21.5.22. Great walk from Pelter Bridge car park. We added a lot on exploring the area. We ended up walking to Ambleside. Just for info of folks going to Pelter bridge it’s £8 to park all day, no toilets. Thanks once again 😊👍
We've added it to the list, cheers!
No worries guys. Cheers
Great route beats my 10km loop I did 🤣🤣🤣 I did map this one for my daughter. She said it was great but was wet and boggy on top in December when she did it.
It’s a good little fell this. Great views from all directions.
