लखनऊ की आन बान शान रूमी दरवाज़ा🚪|RUMI DARWAZA🚪,LUCKNOW HISTORY|लखनऊ के रूमी दरवाजे🚪का संपूर्ण इतिहास

The Rumi Darwaza in Lucknow, like the Bara Imambara, was also constructed as part of a famine relief project. Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula built this gate during the famine in 1784-86 to provide employment to people. A symbol of Awadhi architecture, this gate is referred to as the "Turkish Gateway." The Rumi Darwaza resembles the gates of Constantinople. This structure stands around 60 feet tall and is located near the Bara Imambara in Lucknow.
लखनऊ में बड़ा इमामबाड़ा की तर्ज पर ही रूमी दरवाजे का निर्माण भी अकाल राहत प्रोजेक्ट के अन्तर्गत किया गया है। नवाब आसफउद्दौला ने यह दरवाजा 1784-86 ई. में अकाल के दौरान बनवाया था ताकि लोगों को रोजगार मिल सके। अवध वास्तुकला के प्रतीक इस दरवाजे को तुर्किश गेटवे कहा जाता है। रूमी दरवाजा कांस्टेनटिनोपल के दरवाजों के समान दिखाई देता है। यह इमारत करीब 60 फीट ऊंची है तथा बड़ा इमामबाड़ा, लखनऊ के निकट स्थित है।
