Loving the channel man! Im from America so ee don't have history like that in the ground here. Awesome to watch you recover it! I started collecting ancient coins about a year ago. Thanks for sharing!
Amazing finds! I wish i could join you in these treasure hunts, it must be such a great time! I just wanted to point out a detail: the coin at 15:06 is actually a Valerian "antoninianus", you can read FIDES MILITVM on the revers with the Fides personification holding two standards. Theorically it should have been like 70-80% silver but by this time the money was so debased that maybe it reached 1-2% silver and the coins got really light and small esp. under Gallienus (Valerian's son) and the next rulers until Aurelian about 15 years later saved the empire from collapse and reformed the coinage as you may see on his nice silvered Aureliani. These finds are all from around a 50 year span, it's so cool
Wow~ great finds! On the cusp of eastern, western roman empires and 'barbarian' states...a lot of fast activity and loss of coins. And all with a standard ace 400, solid machine. As the finds pay for the machine, upgrade for more fun and finds. Good luck! *Subscribed*
Yes, Croatia and Southeast Europe have been crossroads for as long as human species, so no suprise that many stuff lay around! And I have to say, all of this is not bringing me any money, I don't sell stuff wich I found, majority of the stuff is for local museum, all of this is pure hobby and passion for history and that is the beauty of this. cheers and all the best!
@@MD_Panonnia I don't sell my finds either. But the wife let's me buy better 'toys' when there is 'value' in it. Like you, I treasure the historical value. Btw, I served in Bosnia. I've seen and understand the 'crossroads' of politics, religion and all important lands ergo the chaos and beauty it comes with!
Hello my friend, great finds, keep doing that excellent job rescuing and preserving our beloved Roman coins! I have answered your email and gave you the attributions requested, but I think you uploaded this video before checking the mail. I will give you further info about your coins in a video next Sunday. 7:03 is an antoninianus of Aurelian, struck at Milan mint, officina 4 (Q in exergue), late 272 to early 274 AD. The other one Aurelian in great shape with silvering intact is from Rome, struck 275 AD; officina mark is H (= 8, not A) in field. The Constantine II from Constantina/Arelate (Arles France) is a rare find in the Balkans, and a wonderful example. The Valerian (not Philip the Arab) antoninianus is from Rome 2nd issue, mid 254-255, so it is white billion, about 20% silver. Check in my channel's last week's video were I teach how to read mintmarks on late imperial coins.
Nice finds! Congrats! A couple are misidentified though--the 2 soldiers with standards "GLORIA EXERCITVS" is actually Constantine II (one of Constantine's sons). Legend reads "CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C". This is common mistake to make, but the IVN differentiates the 2. The other one I think is misidentified is the Philip I (the Arab) coin. I believe that one to be Valerian. His portrait does look similar, but legend reads Valerian. Keep up the great finds though. A bit envious I can only obtain they through purchasing from people like you having the real fun and can't go out and look for them locally.
Thank You Sir! 1000 seems like really far away, I'm gonna continue to post videos when ever I can and if I'm any good i guess the number will follow! All best for Netherlands!

Bravo !!!
Congratulation from Sicily.. very beautiful finds
Thank You, greetings to sunny island
Great hunt and great finds 👏
Thank You !
nice finds, what are the rules for metal detecting in the balkans?
It depends from country to country. In Croatia is allowed to detect but not on registred archeological and protected sites. Cheers
@@MD_Panonnia So it’s allowed with agreement of land owner in bulgaria?
where most Roman coins are found
Where, in terms of country or general look of the area where they can be found?
so where in the field in the forest in the yard
And area
На български говори, който иска да превежда
Аз съм хърватин и не говоря български 😊
