I think people who *don't* get out to nature for some adventure are crazy! Folks think I'm crazy because I'm female and go backpacking solo and I call it fun 😁
Canada was built by adventurers! I think it's great that there are still people who want to do that, and share their adventures with us in books, or movies or TH-cam.

People who haven’t spent time in the woods wouldn’t understand your situation.
    I liked your 1st book.
    Paddle on Adam!
    Thanks for the interview Kevin.

Men of the Last Frontier and Ontario's Lost Canoe Routes are two of the books that got me hooked on canoeing and tripping when I was a teenager too. Gonna have to pick up one of Adam's books asap! Stellar interview, thanks Kevin!

I'm older but I'm always pleased to meet another person who has a similar connection to Nature.

Speaking of mosquitos…I live in the Northwest Territories as a child. I remember one summer when the carburetor in our car died due to immense, overwhelming clouds of mosquitoes…truly NO joke!
I think we should have bought stock in bug spray, as we were always covered in it, as well as wearing bug shirts and masks. As a child, we never thought it was unusual, so now when I hear of people complaining of a single mosquito or black fly bite, I laugh (as long as it’s not a serious allergy).
There is much JOY being in our pristine wilderness…I hope more will begin to bring their families into our amazing wilderness, as my incredible parents and grandparents did with us! Just remember to RESPECT nature and all its glory, so generations can enjoy it long after we pass to the great beyond!
    Cheers!🇨🇦

Great interview Kevin and Adam. I find it's amazing how our lives grow from the seeds that are planted so early. It's a beautiful thing when it all flows just like a river! You can see it on Adam's face when talking about being crazy or not. Well done!

Wow! When he said that his first outdoor adventure was when his Uncle dropped him off in the bush, it brought back memories of when my Dad did the same for me at 13. Being still a young guy, he makes many of us jealous of his fantastic life up to now.

What a cool interview. I started his book Beyond the Trees after hearing the interview. I think the comparisons to Indiana Jones is wrong, he is more of a Frodo Baggins to me. If he ever decided to write a fantasy epic I would read it in a heart beat.
