Chisa is the power singer. Her progress is the most improved over the 2 years that during the tour, her solo set was not only the most anticipated but also the most surprising since her versatility and range is so unpredictable. She's covered Britney, Keyshia Cole, Whitney Houston, Avril Lavigne, Teyana Taylor, Muni Long and Beyoncé which was only the US part of the tour. Her other covers in other regions had to be experienced to believe that it wasn't hers because she owned it.
What makes the video even more enjoyable is knowing that Chisa is singing this song live, just as Juria also sings on her Vox. It's in the behind the scenes videos. Really dope!!♨️ Good vibes Dre. Peace ✌🏼

She's gotten better to, I would encourage you - even if just on your own time and not a reaction - to check out her solos from the tour. There are some great fancams on TH-cam (Kaylawmochi in particular) The Never Enough cover in particular, lots of high notes and she slays every single one. Oh and I feel you on Maya, she's my bias and I always say she's the bridge between the rap and vocal lines. She's a dope rapper but she can sing her ass off too.
Just a quick note these are still very early XG from 2+ years ago and it just shows their evolution from then. When you do Juria, her song is Dear Name, an iconic Korean classic by the great singer IU. IU’s songs are notoriously difficult to sing due to the use of head voice (falsetto) but Juria did a very good job with a difficult song and also conveyed the emotion behind the song, which was written by IU in memory of a close friend in the industry who took her own life. Also Juria is singing this in Korean which is not her native language. In the behind the scenes, Hinata was there to support Juria and Hinata was crying at the end because Juria’s rendition was so moving and emotional. There is a vocal “payoff” at the end of the song which IU kills every time and Juria did it justice. Anyway just some context for you when you get to Juria’s track Dear Name. Vox 3 by the way is when the vocal line really start to shine
It's actually Chisa who got a lot of amazing technicalities in terms of singing. That's why in every XG song, she fits like a puzzle piece. tho i can't wait for your reaction to Juriaaa, my vocal bias!
I haven't gushed here about Maya yet, I think. But yeah, in a team of ladies that can do so much, she still sticks out to me as the "do all the things" girl. It's hard when you have seven favorites, and you have to pick Maya as your super duper favorite.

Interesting note : she's taken an interest in production, she's the one who arranged and produced their tape 6 FLO cover "Losing you" with Juria and Hinata. Maya is a funny one. Most people are in awe and shock by Cocona and Jurin's explosiveness when they discover XG, but, as it is my case, it seems that more and more people are starting to bias Maya when they notice her incredible talent all around, she's the sneaky bias, who's coming around unnoticed and reveals herself after a while !

No, she wasn't struggling, since I've seen/heard her live singing this. It's just, in my opinion, the sound mixing on this track it's rly messed up. i don't know what they did, but the back instrumentals are waaaay too loud and also, they added a layer of some sort over her vocals, which I find it rly disappointing, since her vocals are so wonderful. Maybe the mic quality wasn't that great either, I don't know, but when I heard her singing this live, (a part of it a Capella), only 20 m from me, I was in awe.
