@@mikebarkerstudio I work at a retirement home, and one of the almost 100 yr old Tennant passed about a month ago and left all her belongings for the staff to take as they wish, I took my fair share along with 2 paintings from Tom Thompson. One is called "Pine Island" and the other called "Northern River". I took them because the frames were deep and beautiful, and put them in storage until I saw the auction price of one of his paintings and commented prematurely. The backs have tags saying " National Gallery of Canada", can't see any brush strokes so they are only as valuable as the frames. Oh well.

I have two of his paintings, no way they are worth that kind of money.
I highly doubt that if you do indeed own two Tom Thomson paintings, that you are unaware of what their value are.
