What's up bowtie...great list. I'm fairly new to the fragrance game, but I can say your reviews stand out amongst the crowd. Even though I'm new, I stumbled upon a bottle of Cartier's Oud & Ambre. You mentioned that you wanted to get your nose on it in one of your past Cartier videos...I MUST get your feedback/review on it. It's the best fragrance I own..hands down
I tried Blessed Baraka a year ago and it instantly went into my Top 5. Fast forward a year and I have now amassed over 400 fragrances (bottles but mostly samples, I love samples haha) and Blessed Baraka is still the only one in my Top 5 from last year. It is THAT GOOD! It's weird it flies under the radar like it does. I think you are the only one that has really put it in the spotlight so thank you for introducing me to this masterpiece of a fragrance.
Blessed Baraka is dope! I sampled it based on your recommendation, no one else is really talking about it, but it is amazing! I love the scent and will be getting a full bottle

Great video and I enjoyed it and I like Andy Tauer Air De Maracain and it's a 10 out of 10 in my opinion and I'm going to try the other fragrances and have a blessed night
Noir Ambre is pure bliss! It really reminds of me PDM Habdan but with a vanilla base. I was looking for D&G Velvet Amber Sun to make the list 👀, KS would rave about that one! Finally sampled it on 5th Ave, it love at first sniff and I bought one on the spot. Bowtie, Idk if you sampled it, but it probably would’ve made your top 5 😮🔥🔥

You nailed it! Amber Absolute is the greatest amber ever and is my #1 favorite scent of all time. I am hoading a few bottles as it is very difficult to get without selling your kidney. Truly a masterpiece!!!
Darien you need to get your hands on Lattafa Eternal oud. It has a very similar DNA to Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan and for less than $40 this is truly a must have. Thank for the comparison and been waiting for one like this.
I prefer Au Coeur du Desert over L’Air du Desert Marocain from Andy Tauer. I sold my bottle of LADDM after I purchased ACDD. The performance of LADDM was poor on my skin and ACDD is great with just a couple of sprays. There are similarities in the scent, but ACDD is better IMO.
Remember when Kevin Samuels said that one bottle of New York Amber will last you for 400 years? This is also true after I got my bottle in. 2 sprays, and you're all set for the day.

Maybe he misspoke, but AmberGRIS has nothing to do with an amber accord. They're unrelated and so is the scent. Amber is created usually through some combination of vanilla, benzoin, labdanum and musks.

My take on Noir Ambre: Let me start off by saying that to me, this is a 10/10. 'Sunset Riot' by AllSaints has a burnt-sugar accord that I love. Looking at reviews, I believe I'm not the only one to feel that way. Ever since then I have never experienced anything like that. It smells synthetic, sweet, airy, but absolutely addictive. Some people compare that fragrance to 'Baccarat Rouge 540'... And Noir Ambre is the only other fragrance that I've seen with that accord. (From looking at the public note breakdown the only notes that Sunset Riot and Noir Ambre have in common is amber and cedar). I absolutely love it. I started my fragrance journey with Dolce & Gabbana 'The One' EDP, so I guess I have an affinity for amber fragrances. This is such a special scent. Nothing about it at all is offensive to my nose. It does have the gasoline/rubber accord but to me that just makes it feel more rugged if that makes sense, and I like that! But underneath that it has a cleanliness that is just a great contrast to the ruggedness. It evokes an image of working on a sports car in a garage then coming inside to a beautiful luxurious home. The leather is a note that stands out to me and I love it. I mention that because I loved testing 'Ombre Leather' but never felt it was worth pulling the trigger on a bottle. With this, I have a great leather note but something more than that as well (take nothing away from Ombre Leather, I think that is great too!). Nothing is too sweet in this. I would go light with the sprays. The presentation on this is really nice, I just think the bottle is well done. My opinion: Clean, yet rugged. Well worth the price. Special. Masculine. Sweet. Dusty. Brilliant. Masterpiece. This stuff is fckin nuts, 10/10 Thank you for elevating the community bro! And happy belated birthday! Keep up the great work 🎉

As the son of a blind parent, I understand your concern with the request for more description. He mentions the names of each fragrance, then shows the bottle. Do you think a description of the bottle is needed or of interest to the blind community? Not being a jerk but genuinely curious of the descriptive features you’re seeking.
I don’t intend this to sound dismissive, but TH-cam is a video platform. So your comment also makes me curious about what kind of accommodations are expected for those that can’t engage with the visual aspect of video - which is half of the experience

Nice Amber lineup Darian, some of my favs are Roja Dove Amber Extrait, Elie Sabb Essence No. 3 Ambre and MFK Grand Soir.
Essence No. 3 is a beauty! Same perfumer as Grand Soir.
I like the Jo Malone Dark Amber and Ginger Lilly. Beautiful scent.
