Thank you so much! I will watch this over and over taking detailed notes. Your instructions will save me paper and printer ink. But more of all it will save me time to make better quality projects. Less cut and paste and hand drawing and more scroll sawing.

So glad I found you again. I was buying my RBI Hawk Scrollsaw blades from you when I lived in Sacramento, CA under King's Wood Treasures in 1999. Had to stop when I lost my right eye in 2009. Life goes on. Just ordered some of your #3 reverse tooth blades today on Amazon. Want to see if I can adapt myself to this art again. if just my own personal use, and not a business doing craft shows. Just personal fun. Glad you're still doing this after all these years, Steve.

Steve Thankyou for your time in making these scroll saw videos. Ive learned a lot from you. I just got my scroll saw. Id really like to learn how to make my own compound cut patterns. I dont want to use other scroll saw artists work. Id like to have my prodjects to be totally my idea. Do you have any recommendations on tutorials for making my own compound scroll saw patterns?
Again thank you for your time.

An UPDATE to the video. I left out part of a step. When selecting multiple objects you have to hold down the shift key as you click the object. In the video, I show adding a bridge between the letters. To union that bridge, you have to select the rectangle bridge and the main body of the pattern together, Hold the shift key as you click.

    Hi Steve,
This may not be the right place to ask this question, but I will anyways. Which is the best scroll saw program for making patterns with both text and pictures. I see you have done videos using gimp and inkscape. I would like to just use one program for any type of pattern. I'm not sure if this is possible to accomplish. What is your opinion? Thanks in advance for your time. BTW it doesn't haft to be just these two programs.

Great information. Question: Can you make a video on how to make a normal photo and turn into an black/white portrait pattern to cut on the scrollsaw? Thanks!

Great videos! Aren’t company logos also copyright protected though? Or is it okay because you’re doing an artistic take on it..?
