This is part one of three videos on the gimp process. If you need another perspective, you may look at scroll saw village. Travis has a Videos as well as Steve Good. I hope one of these will help you.
@@deecee8108 I do have some other projects. I’m doing right now. Perhaps I will do another video that will give step-by-step some time soon. As for enlarging your photo, you can do that in any system or start with an 8 x 10 when you scan it in. Just make sure the picture is very clear and detailed. That will help in the translation into gimp.
I hope my video will get you started with Gimp. There are many other videos out there that may help as well. It really just takes practice, practice, practice. Good luck.
Thank you Ma'am Susan your video is a good sample for the beginner like me. I love to learn a lot of techniques doing portrait. I wish you do sponsor scroll saw machine hehehe! Thank you! Again
To resize and keep the integrity of the work I have done, I usually go over to inkscape and resize. I then use ms paint and make sure I have the right size before printing. I know some people use rapid resizer but I have no experience with that. I hope this helps.
Gimp is mainly a rastor graphics program. I do not know what MS word is. I can tell you gimp has been around for 25 years and is free and very dependable.
Love this tutorial. Thanks a bunch.
I'm glad it can help you out.
can you do one where you cover every single step. I am sad that this one is not helpful for me
